The teacher tells you to study, your classmates have been studying for centuries now, skeletons lay in seats of past students. They forgot to study.
The cheerleaders talk about tonight’s game, you thought they were only on Fridays but you hear it echo down the halls everyday “tonight, tonight, come see me tonight.”
Lunch ends as soon as it starts, you walk out the class for lunch and, class? You could’ve sworn you were just in the cafeteria a second ago.
A pencil is borrowed everyday, yet they disappear into the void, only to be found by the next generation.
The P.A system comes on. As if it’s playing a joke, it’s quiet for a moment of time just long enough for you to break out in a sweat, the girl next to you whispers “lockdown.”
There’s gum in your mouth, gum on your chair, gum on the table, gum on your shoes. You looked, there’s no gum in the trash cans- there are none anyways.
Get your yearbooks, only 80 dollars for your precious memories! You won’t have them otherwise. 80 dollars or you’ll never get them back.
The school lunches have an odd smell, you could’ve sworn the pizza sitting on that kid’s tray just moved, he takes a big bite.
