February, 1983. Not quite fifteen years old. Gymnastics, waterskiing, and horseback riding had me fit AF. I'm wearing jewelry I'd made, a bikini from that year's Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue, and the look of someone spiraling away from anything close to sane. #thisiswhatbipolardisorderlookslike Share your photos and stories and add #thereisnonormal #weareeverywhere #endthestigma
Everyone has a different "normal" and everyone has a different threshold. You can't compare them, they're just different. Don't get down when it's your turn to step back and handle your life but don't ever deny yourself the turn to #shine either. #lickyourwoundsandmoveon #takeyourturninfront #thereisnonormal #begreat
Spirit was out and about today, and boy are they trying to connect. My mind is so full with #film stuff that the blank space they walk in and out of to communicate is tucked away. Full of other shit. They killed my phone twice, and knocked over the same mediumship book by the fantastic @lisawilliamsmedium I bought when I needed some direction to figure this shit out (then stopped because seeing auras freaked me out). There are lots of people with lots of messages, and it's - for the first time - totally okay. It'll just come as it comes. I know I've said it before but the fear in the beginning, not understanding what was happening to me, not knowing who I was seeing or where the voices were coming from, scared me so much. It won't go away, so I'm walking the steps of embracing it. And at the same time, embracing myself. It is what it is, I am what I am, and I really mean it when I say that as frightened by them as I was before... my spirit fam is the only real family I've ever had, and they've saved my life endless times. If you're #awakening and having #visions, hearing #voices and all kinds of #ghost shit... it's okay. Stay in the light of it and you're okay! They really don't want to scare you. Even the weird ones. 🤣 #FuckNormal #ThereIsNoNormal
There literaly is no normal when it comes to people

Authenticity be damned—Normcore is about post-authenticity and adaptability, a radical flexibility. It isn’t about creating exclusive pockets of belonging. It’s recognizing that “normal” doesn’t exist. It’s a deliberate moving away from cool that emphatically reiterates the necessity of difference and “opts into sameness” in a post-authentic way. “Instead of appropriating an aestheticized version of the mainstream, it just cops to the situation at hand.” K-HOLE defines it as: · SITUATIONAL · NON-DETERMINISTIC · ADAPTABLE · UNCONCERED WITH AUTHENTICITY · EMPATHY OVER TOLERANCE · POST-ASPIRATIONAL Glazek suggests the true icon of Normcore is James Franco.
