Fangs and a shield | the-reluctantcaptain
He was right there. Sitting quietly, by himself. She wondered what he’s thinking, then she noticed a piece of paper. It looked completely white, but as the sun shine to it, she noticed lines and colours pop out, but she still didn’t know what he was drawing. He looked concentrated and relaxed at the same time, it was incredible. How a strong man like him can take time and appreciate art as simple as a pencil makes.
"What’re you drawing?" She stepped to him, arms behind her back and her lips pursed together as she was trying to look as kind and nice as possible. Evil grins and smirks were out of the question as she took a seat beside him. Fake identity mode, on. What should her name and life story be that day? She smiled and offered a hand. "I’m Kelly." She introduced her false self.
//I still owe a few replies, starters and asks, but my muse is being a little bitch and I promise I'll get to them really soon, okay? Don't hate me <3

It didn’t take her long to pack, or to disconnect her phone. Disappearing was easy for her, how many times had she done it before while on mission for the Red Room? Hundreds? Thousands? She even disappeared from them, so what was disappearing one more time for a woman whose job was to disappear. She didn’t care that she had upset the teams dynamic, she wasn’t even sure what that meant. She was used to working alone. There was only one exception and that was James, but that wasn’t so much working together as making sure they didn’t do anything reckless. Looking over her apartment for the last time she felt a small pang of guilt as she realized this was the closest thing to home since the Red Room , and she was leaving it. What hurt was that no one would miss her, and she knew it. Not that it should hurt, but it did. She wanted family more than anything and for one brief moment she thought she might’ve had one, but that illusion was shattered. Now she’d start over, and that was something she was good at.

Rosie had been awake for less than a day, still adjusting to everything that was around her. The hustle of the SHIELD headquarters and the various gadgets they all had. It was far different than the 40s were. She just wished there was some piece of her past that was still around. All there was was the old worn poster of her from during the war.
She stood quietly at one of the many counters of SHIELD, filling out some paperwork that they required of her. Of course she would comply and not cause some sort of fuss. It would be far rude. But as her pen moved across the white sheet something caught her eye out of the corner of her eye. Immediately she turned her head and froze.
"S-Steve?" Rosie muttered, recognizing the red, white, and blue suit perfectly.
