Headcanon

Long headcanon about Trixster finding Monarch, how he feels about it/has reacted to it, and how he told the others.

Even at home, or when he was with his father, he needed to be doing something. Tinkering, fixing appliances, even house work. Whatever he could do to busy himself, he did. It worried his father, and Warlock, who he has denied going out on dates with since he found Monarch. Warlock understands and lets Trixster deal with his anxiety the way he wants to, so long as he don't overwork himself. Also, the night when he found Monarch he didn't even go home, and worked all night. Warlock found him in the morning and gave him a blanket, talking to him once he woke up about why he didn't go home. Which lead to the conversation about Trix not wanting to go out for a while, which Warlock understands.

On the exterior end, Trix didn't look that different. He's fairly practiced in the way of keeping his emotions to himself and hiding behind his usual poker face, but others could tell when he too deep in thought about what might happen to Monarch.

Trix is also the only one who saw Monarch in the state he was in after being attacked. He rushed him to the medical wing and let the doctors deal with him after that. He didn't want to leave but the doctors said he should change his uniform, for he had gotten Monarch's blood over the one he was wearing. On his way to the lockers, Trix bumped into Commander Cold, and Heatstroke, explaining to each of them why he was covered in blood and how he found Monarch.

Trix/Heatstroke

Who cooks:

Trix does most of the cooking and Heat will try every once in a while, making something fairly easy.

Who does the laundry and other chores: 

Heat does. They both do a lot of cleaning, but Trix is still a kid with ADHD. If he hasn’t taken his meds yet, he’ll often leave his work out on the kitchen table.  

How many children do they have:

No children. They might adopt but they haven't decided on which child yet.

Who’s more dominate:

Heatstroke. Definitely Heatstroke.

Favorite nonsexual activity:

Uh…cooking? Trix loves to cook, so Heat would offer to help from time to time. Other than that, working, because they are at the headquarters so often.

Their favorite place to be together:

Home, most likely.

Any traditions:

Not really. Maybe volunteering their time on Halloween at a haunted house.

Their “song”:

Nope.

What they do for each other on holidays:

Gift exchange, the usual for most holidays. They do spend time  with Trix's family on Thanksgiving and Christmas. I can also see them volunteering their time at a local Halloween haunted house or something. XD Trix would work on the animatronics, and Heatstroke would be Frankenstein's Monster.

Where did they go for their honeymoon:

Uh, I think Heatstroke would take Trix out of the country somewhere. Or maybe Disneyworld.

Where did they first meet:

Same place as everyone else.

Any pets:

Fetch.

What do they fight over:

Trix’s personal work room/him being a work-a-holic. Heat thinks that Trix should have some more time to be a kid. Have some more fun and not load up his day with work. Heat threaten Trix by saying “You’ll end up like the Commander before you know it” and that’s enough for Trix to not work at much, at least at home.

Do they go on vacations, if so where:

They don't go often, but when they do, Heatstroke tends to enjoy planning out the trip, to wherever it is, and not tell Trix anything until the day they're leaving. Heatstroke will pack both of their bag and get everything ready and then he'll wake Trix up real early the day of and get him in the car, Trix would fall right back to sleep right as he sits down and when he wakes up he realizes their on the road to wherever vacation Heatstroke had planned for them.

who is the big spoon/little spoonHeatstroke is the big spoon. I mean you got the shortest and the tallest members of the Renegades right here. XD I really doubt that Trix could pull off being the big spoon. He would try but then Heat would try not to laugh because the kid's not able to pull it off and then they'd switch, with Trix being thoroughly embarrassed.

what is their favorite non-sexual activityUh...cooking? Trix loves to cook, so Heat would offer to help from time to time. Other than that, working, because they are at the headquarters so often.

who uses all the hot water in the morningWhoever wakes up first, probably Heatstroke most of the time though because he knows that Trix is still a kid, 19 but still a kid to Heat, so he lets Trix sleep in and takes the first shower in the morning.

what they order from take outAlmost nothing. Trix does most of the cooking and Heat will try every once in a while, making something fairly easy. When they do go out, it's either whatever is in the cafeteria that day or when they stay late at work and Trix is too tired to cook anything. Neither are that picky over what they eat though, so they just hit what ever's the first thing they see that sounds good.

what is the most trivial thing they fight overTrix's personal work room/him being a work-a-holic. Heat thinks that Trix should have some more time to be a kid. Top/Heatstroke

Bekka  Heatstroke.  Top likes to pillow his head on HS's chest.

Barbecuing, outside activities, eating

Heatstroke.  Definitely Heatstroke.  Top never had a chance.

Whatever HS feels like, mostly.  Top's not allowed to order again after the Hufu.

What's for dinner.

Top.  If things aren't clean, then he freaks, because his books and microfilms will get damaged

Also Top, mostly books though, and bowls of candy. Heatstroke occasionally leaves things to pick up later

Heatstroke remembers every time.  He has some sort of psychic sense to know when there isn't any milk in the house

who remembers anniversaries

Heatstroke always does romantic things on the anniversaries.  Top just does cute romantic things when he feels like it.

Ghost Monarch

(( More ghost stuff here, including the original drabble so it can be reblogged. ))

He had died over a year ago at the hands of one of his teammates.

It had been over a year sense he realized his spirit was stuck in his former headquarters and was unable to pass on.

No one could see him obviously, or could hear him, so Jack Carrol AKA Mirror Monarch was forced to watch his teammate’s morn his death and eventually move on.

He spent most of his time as a spirit haunting either the workshop or the Commanders office. Jack watched Nick (He had found out the Commanders name after easdropping on a conversation between him and Heatstroke) and talked to him. He knew Nick could not hear him but it was the only thing he could to keep from going insane from the isolation.  He talked about his family, things he saw his teammates doing, trying to help piece the information together in cases, and complaining about the Commanders work habits.

“You know you could really get some sleep Nick, you’re going to drop dead from exhaustion…..don’t grab more coffee! Go to bed! You do know what a bed is right? You know that thing I can’t use anymore because I can’t sleep?……..Do I need to go find a stray cat and get one to follow me inside to bother you again? How can cat’s even see me? No one else can. I don’t even likecats!……Seriously Commander you need to take a break or you’ll drop dead from exhaustion, and as much as I would love the company I really don’t want you to join me until you die of old age or something.”

As with every time before the Commander showed no signs of hearing him and didn’t react at all. A small part of Jack hoped that maybe, somehow, Nick knew he was there.  It was stupid but hope was the only thing he had left to cling to.

Nick had fallen asleep at his desk again and with a sigh Jack sat on his desk and watched the Commander sleep, protecting the man he worked and cared for even in death.

“Hey Heatsroke, I mean Lance, wow is it weird to use your name, I know you can’t hear me but I’m gonna talk at you anyway…….So how’s Bekka doing? I obviously haven’t been able to see her due to being stuck in this damn building. I miss her…..you know you and Bekka were like older siblings to me, I mean I already had older siblings but you two definitely were part of my family even if you never met them…….you were always keeping me from doing stupid stuff when the Commander wasn’t around, though you did that for everyone……………If you and Bekka ever have kids you are gonna be a awesome dad.”

“Trixter!...............Shane!........nope still can’t hear me, crap. Well it was worth a shot at least, would have been nice if you suddenly could see ghosts or something……….You know that would work a lot better if you moved that wire over there and put that gear here instead of there or its gonna blow up……….Told you so…….Holy Crap! You can smile! And laugh! The world must be ending……...........................…You know, the crappiest thing about being dead is that no one can laugh at my jokes. I bet you would find some of this funny, or at least my attempts at humor funny…………also if you don’t make a move on ‘Lock already I will find some way to lock you two in a closet or something until you do.”

“Jeez is it raining again? What is it with you and gloomy weather? It’s been almost a year ‘lock you need to move on, I know we were friends but you need to move on, I wasn’t that important in the grand scheme of things. Just some kid from Detroit that somehow ended up on a team of cops, though when the other option was Jail then I’m pretty happy I took the Judges offer…….Did I ever tell you about that? When I met the guy he told me I could either join the Renegades or go to jail for using illegal technology? Guys a real asshole, if ya ask me things would be a lot better if he wasn’t in charge but hey I was a high school dropout so what would I know?............Is it still raining?......Can you catch a cold or get sick from rain or does the wand protect you from that?.....I always wanted to take that thing apart and see how it worked, I tried swiping it when you weren’t at work but it shocked me…..It was a pain in the ass to find a good explanation about the burns………..............You know what would be a good idea? If you went inside and talked to someone, Heatstroke would be happy to, or Trix, the kid is head over heels for you ya know……...........................................Why do I even bother? You can’t hear me, nobody can.”

Because you’re getting really twitchy, and you should stop muttering to yourself it makes you sound crazy. Heh of course I might as well be crazy too because all I’m doing is talking to myself……….I’d be happy if it was just you who could hear me…….I just want to be able to talk to someone!”
