âThatâs good to hear.â Trixster took a small sip of his coffee.
He looked down at his bag for a moment before kneeling down to open it. âI, uh, have a surprise for you.â The teen pulls out a meal container from his bag and opens it, revealing a bowl of curry and a small cupcake. âHappy Birthday.â
Benedikt gaped.  His mouth opened and closed with nothing to say until a loud crack made him wince.
âI⊠I, um,â He looked up to Trixter and smiled, âThanks, Trix!â
He looks down, embarrassed, feels the back of his neck get warm, âI didnât think anyoneâd remember.â
Trixster scratched the back of his neck a little. How couldnât he? It was on in PDA, and Fetch kept reminding me too, but he wasnât going to tell Benedikt that. âYouâre welcome.â
The teen stood up with the meal container in hand, ready to hand it over to the other man. âSo, no one else has come to see you?â
Benedikt stood in front of him, making childish grabby hands, just barely stopping himself from making a really embarrassing noise.
"Hmm," He tapped his chin.  "Since you last visited? Not any actual visitors, per se.  Although your timey-wimey rift to the 21st century allowed me to chat with an old blogger from that era," said with accompanying jazz fingers to illustrate the "timey-wimey"ness.
âThatâs good to hear.â Trixster took a small sip of his coffee.

"I... I, um," He looked up to Trixter and smiled, "Thanks, Trix!"
He looks down, embarrassed, feels the back of his neck get warm, "I didn't think anyone'd remember."
âHeyâ. Trixster said as he handed over the coffee to the other. âYouâre welcome. Iâm doing well.â
The teen shrugged his bag off of his shoulder and set it down on the floor gently. He waited for Benedikt to take a sip before the teen took a sip himself. âHow about yourself?â
Sitting down across from Trix, legs folded, drinking sparingly. (A caffeine rush are a terrible thing to have in an enclosed space.)
"That's good." Grin, smile dammit!
"Ah, well," Benedikt gestures to his jawline. "I healed up pretty good."
Ever since the night before, Fetch kept reminding him of the date. The teen wasnât so sure he should do anything about it, but something in his stomach was telling him that it was wrong to just leave Benedikt alone on his birthday. Yes, heâs a criminal. Yes, he killed Monarch. Yes, he deserves to be in jail right now. But⊠it was his birthday.
Swallowing his pride, Trixster had planned to visit his ex-teammate during his break and had made him a surprise. When it came time for his break, Trixster grabbed his bag and headed towards Benediktâs cell, but not before he made a detour to the cafeteria for two cups of coffee.
The teen stopped in front of Benediktâs holding cell, looking in and finds him slumped on his bunk. Taking a deep breath, he has Fetch hold one of the coffeeâs as he enters the room, closing the door behind him. Trixster walks up to Benediktâs cell, waiting a moment in silence before he clears his throat. ââŠI brought you some coffee.â
Benedikt forced himself up, got dizzy, forced himself up slower.Â
Trixter?
"I uhm," cough, smile wide, "Hey-a Trix! Howzit goin'?"
Coffee? Well, a night of jitters is worth company. Especially since... well no one wants to spend their birthday alone. And it isn't often he get's visitors at all.
"Cool, thanks!" dry swallow, gentle reach out to take the coffee between the bars.
Huh!? Benedikt notices the date on the computer. Â "Oh."
Will to work gone, he closes down the history sites, slumps over to his bunk and collapses on the clean half, watching the ceiling.
Hospitals stays are boring. was Benedikt's first coherent thought as he slowly woke up... in his cell.
The guards must have wheeled him back in while he was still sedated after getting the wire out.
He groggily worked his jaw, sounding painful cracks of disuse.
Grand.
renegadestop replied to your post: BIA ITâS ALMOST YOUR BIRTHDAY! What should I make you for your birthday!?!
Aww, come on, you like me!
Of course I do, baby.
When youâre not being creepy and just stay in prison like you should.
Aww, but then I wouldn't be able to visit you! :D

Bia said to draw Benedikt in something fancy.
This is the dumb scribble I made.
Hey Top
Thatâs rather surprising, considering how many times itâs been destroyed or ransacked. Â Especially by various Rogues and would-be-Rogues.
Itâs really unclear. Â I was hoping youâd observed enough to confirm it.
P.S. I know, right?
I guess they keep rebuilding it the same way or something. I was only in there for a few moments so I didnât really look around.Â
P.S. âŠ..I could still do that.Â
Well, I suppose that would be easier than finding another architect, considering it's probably going down no matter how sturdy they build it.
P.S. You'd be doing yourself a favor.
Hey Top
Well thatâs lame. Â Any info you can give a curious historian? Â Oooh, have any pictures of the Flash Museum exhibits? Oh, did people really decorate with hubcaps?
P.S. I think Maestro and Elemen-O-P each brought one into his workshop to nap in.
Well I didnât take any pictures of the place but other then the added things from our time it looked pretty much the same to me, and people really did that?
P.S. Wish I had thought of that.Â

Hey Top
Apparently it is.Â
p.s. I think I slept though it actually.Â
No kidding. -mutters under his breath about professionalism-
So Gumdrop, anything exciting happening in your âObserve the primitivesâ mission?
P.S. the chairs in that briefing room are so comfy, arenât they?
Not really, I donât really interact with any of them so mostly itâs just observation. Which gets really boring after a while.Â
P.S. they really are.Â

17: What has been the best moment of your life so far?
Nearly full grown, wide at the shoulders, yet not nearly as strong as he will be, Benedikt is dressed in barely fitting second-hand clothes, and looks as though he is over worked and exhausted.
Ever? Well, last week I's 'cepted into the Gem City University College of History on scholarship! Â I'm gettin' out of here!
10: What do you want to be when you're a grown up?
Little Benedikt Kumiega, dressed in grungy over-sized hand-me-downs, dirt on his face, nose running, not making eye contact.
I dunno, I guess I just wanna be... not here...
Hey Top
Itâs apparently more fun than keeping the evidence room clean and organized.
P.S. I donât blame you in the least.
