When it came to being a thief, there was a rather extensive list of precedents that came with it. There was an amazingly vast skills and abilities that was expected from all thieves, but in Logan's line of work, not many were ever really able to past those petty stages. Stealing purses was a good start, snatching a few bills and a bag full of rolexes on the subway had sated Logan once upon a time. But a girl's gotta dream big, right? She was juvenile when she was purse snatching on the streets, a kid that really had no place being alone, but that wasn't really anything she'd ever had control over. Logan made the most out of what life had given her and though it was hardly a path many would have chosen given the circumstances, it was what she had taken and there wasn't much remorse in that. Because despite how incredibly shitty life had been to her, it had given her a few gifts too. Gifts that made being a thief easier and a hell of a lot more profitable.
She graduated from her petty days and in just a few years time managed to uphold a rather good reputation for her particular set of skills. It started small, a few heists here and there, broke away into cat burglary and it wasn't long after that she'd taken to stealing jewels and precious pieces of art. All for the right buyer of course, the employer that had the money to spare for her talents. And she wasn't cheap, no matter the job, she always expected a generous cut for the hazards she risked, but that didn't seem to stop the elites from hiring 'Lupus' to pilfer whatever to their heart's desire. And Logan was damn good at her job. She liked to think it was natural talent on her part, an aspiration and inherent cleverness that made her a good burglar, but really it came down to carnal instincts. It came down to being a wolf having all of those sharp senses that made stealing breezy clean.
Logan never asked for names or reasons and she never gave them either. She wanted to know the cut, the item, and the security. That was all she required and that was all she put into the thought of it. Getting caught up in the morals of it all was inherently stupid and she wasn't so eager about having to test her moral compass every five minutes so she tended to forget that she had one. It was no different when she was given the job of snatching a few files from the Queen's rather large mansion in Starling City, the origins of her higher end career, how quaint. There was a moment of hesitation of what these files were, especially all that shit that'd just gone down in the Glades and the five-hundred or so lives that had been claimed. But the money was good and she wasn't about to pass that up. She was greedy.
Making inside was remarkably easy compared to previous jobs. She left the Queen security limp on the lawn or at their posts, unharmed save for a few bruises and killer headaches when they woke up. Logan wasn't a fan of killing when it came to stealing, it was unnecessary most of the time, so she chose more to stick to maiming and otherwise disabling her opponents. Less mess too and Logan was rather fond of her leather tactical suit. Slithering amongst the shadows she downed two more men in the hall, dragged them off to some quiet closets and made her way toward the main office. Crouched down on the desk she searched fervently for the correct drawer, nearly growling when she found the thing locked down. This might be a little trickier than expected. Fuck.
