Rush hour is always a pain in the ass. The time of the day when everyone, AT THE SAME TIME, has a burning NEED to go home. Either from work, college... whatever the fuck. Always on the SAME fucking train. Packed. Pressed against each other like some kinky bullshit fanfiction some thirteen years old posts when they think their parents isn’t watching. 

‘ Okay okay. Enough. It’s your own fault that you’re stuck here ‘

He wants to roll his eyes at the inconvenience, but supposes it might be a bit rude, considering how he’s pressed up against a stranger. Someone who seems to be almost as annoyed about all this as he is. 

“What? You’re not into the whole intimacy between strangers thingy we have going on? Huh. Seems like everyone else is” 

Just for show he does a quick sweep of their environment. Clear sarcasm in his words followed by a charming smirk, but he does his best to press himself as much against the wall as possible. 

“Soooo, come here often?”

SILENCE. He doesn’t look up, nor does he acknowledge her presence. In a few hours he’ll be gone, disappeared from this city to end up in another. Just like the trend he’s set for himself to follow. 

Never stay in one place for too long. 

“No game, Miss Young. I have resigned my position here, and with that breaking any ties I have with this school. My students included” 

He speaks without emotions, not even a smirk or playful glint in his eyes. No, John Silver holds his expression empty.

@theresayoung wanted a starter! 

Silver can’t say he’s been enjoying Washington so far, it’s noisy. Too crowded. But then it so happens that he is far from a city boy. Honestly, if he could choose an ideal place to live, it would have to be somewhere in the wilderness. FAR away from the noise of city life. Isolated. ALONE. 

But to put himself behind the wheel once more and drive for HOURS without any set destination, well, it doesn’t sound very inviting. At least not yet.

It’s a Saturday and he finds himself wandering one of the many parks the city has to offer. Restless as always, body itching to be on the move. Perhaps he should have been more active trying to grab as many hours at work as possible, but he simply can’t deal with his coworkers for more than fifteen minutes at a time. 

So, in the end, this restlessness is, in a way, his own fault. 

His leg doesn’t tire as quickly as it used to, so maybe he’d made a good investment by putting more money into his own well being. Who’d have thought? 

He makes a turn, and Gods have mercy, he nearly bumps into none other than Theresa Young. Somehow, this can’t all be a coincidence anymore. Someone is fucking with him, of that he is one hundred percent sure of.
