Um can you IMAGINE Trini and Kim go to prom (their first dance together) and they dance to 1950 by King Princess? And Trini’s wearing a dark gray suit with a pastel yellow under that she got tailored (thanks to the courtesy of Mr. Hart) and blushing and can’t make eye contact with Kim and they’re just swaying side to side, whispering sweet nothings into esch others’ ears? And Kim is wearing this gorgeous pink gown and she leans her forehead against Trini’s and closes her eyes and she whispers, “I love you,” and tears are threatening to spill out of Trini’s eyes because thats the first time that it’s ever been said in their relationship?? And it’s such a relief because the past few months were so rough with saving the world, so the song that played that night was a massive reminder of a milestone in their relationship and their lives, and although they never really played it much after that, they always remembered it to be so important to them, and although unspoken, and they really weren’t aware (but Zack v well knew and he knew it’d come in handy later on), it kinda became “their song.” So fast forward a few years later, at the wedding reception Zack announces that the first dance will be “to their song” and both of them are just really confused and look at each other, until King Princess’s voice filters through the stereo
