I dont know why but I got music & lyrics vibe when I saw the info on @stanaustralia . Both are struggling in their career and forced to take 'a back seat' to figure things out until a single woman comes into their life and suddenly their muse takes interest. Only difference is Music & Lyrics, Hugh Grant plays a musican and in The Rewrite, he plays a screenwriter who hasn't had a hit for a decade or so.... Okay...hold up...The Rewrite is a bit slow for my liking, it went over some screeenwriting things I was taught by my screenwriting lecturer, so that was cool. But also, it threw a spanner in the works. I did start out going "why the hell did I press play!?" And it took forever for me to start liking it. The ending caught me off guard, so that was cute. I like how Marisa Tomei is clever with her roles, everything I've seen her in feels quite natural and makes you feel like you can see she's just having fun or showing a side that she probably normally reserves off screen and it's cool. I like her. Also, probably the first rom-com I don't hate Hugh Grant in. Probably because his not playing a version of himself. #therewrite #therewritemovie https://www.instagram.com/p/CZ_qyQov2yb/?utm_medium=tumblr
