As though the constant pain and inability to end said pain wasn't enough - now his ability had shifted into allowing him to see spirits, which meant he somehow ended up in this current situation, trying to help this lost little girl pass on before anything could corrupt her soul. He felt as though they'd been around the entire city, but she couldn't seem to remember where her brother lived, who was who she wished to say goodbye to so desperately.

"That woman has been watching you for a while now", she suddenly said, Garth glancing up in surprise, almost walking into a railing for his troubles. He managed to just about stop himself, turning to face who the girl had pointed out, "Erm, can I help you with something?"

Should he be focusing on work? Yes. Was he even thinking about work? No. Seven sat with his feet up on the side of his computer table, a bag of chips in his lap as he watched the stream of a random streamer he'd just happened to come across. She seemed to have a small group of followers, but in his eyes she deserved much more - and the hacker was just bored enough (and wishing to avoid work), to do something about that. With a small smirk, he leaned forward and pulled himself back in next to his keyboard, stretching his fingers before getting to work.

About twenty minutes later and the chat was abuzz with activity as they tried to make sense of the flood of new followers that seemed to be making their way to the stream, Seven grinning happily to himself as he watched the unfolding chaos, taking it upon himself to remove any trouble makers in the background. He wanted to help, not cause more stress!

"Sorry! Your dog startled me and - " He'd used the bell without even thinking, making the woman herself rather sleepy looking, but knocking out her poor pet cold, though it did seem as though it was having a nice dream. Garth sighed lightly, helping her to sit down at a nearby bench, "Sorry...I honestly thought you were someone else....how are you feeling?".

"You can pet him if you want. He's very friendly." // Elle & Bruiser at Penelope

"I'd love to!" Penelope wasn't one to turn down an offer to pet any animal. Plus, it brightened her day after the latest case that the BAU had worked. While she did enjoy her job and knew how important it was, it could get quite heavy.

"You picked a good time for a walk~ The weather is nice today."

"Hi, it looks like we're going to be working together. I'm Quinn." // Zack Addy & Quinn Brennan - in her Bones verse, if that's alright.

"It looks like it." Zack wasn't too sure what to expect when he had heard that there was going to be another intern at the Jeffersonian. While a part of him may have been a bit jealous, he was also a bit happy for his mentor that she was getting the chance to pass knowledge on to more people.

"I'm Zack." He wasn't exactly the best in social situations, but it would be good for him to get to know who he was going to be working with. After all, she'd probably be helping him with a lot of his tasks that he handled for Temperance, if not taking some of them over. "Dr. Brennan had a meeting, so she won't return for at least another half hour."

These type of grand buildings could almost be seen as sacred, with the type of emotion that they could evoke within some people. Filled with such knowledge and yet so silent, books towered over even his head as he hurried as quietly as he could between the shelves, straining his ears for any sign of possibly having been followed. These type of historical buildings were usually unofficially protected by his fathers men - as a means of preserving the city's culture and appeal, but that just meant that the chances of a fight kicking off were higher.

With a sigh, he rest against the shelf, taking a deep breath to calm down his racing heart. Maybe his pursuers had decided not to follow him into a building known to be under his father's control - though that type of luck was rare for him, a fact made clear as he heard a loud squeak of a shoe somewhere close by, followed by hushed hurried voices. Man, all this hassle over nothing.

A dagger slipped out between his fingers as he listened to the hushed voices draw closer - only for his eyes to latch onto those of a girl who stood not too far from himself, carrying books under one arm. Her lips parted as though to ask him something, but he'd quickly ran over and placed a finger over her mouth to try and silence her before she may be overheard. He really didn't wish to drag any innocents into this encounter...so what else was there to do? "Follow me", he whispered.

"You're not from around here. Are you?" Reina generalized. Sightless blue eyes stare in his general direction, not making eye contact. // Gaara

"No." Gaara wasn't much for socializing, but it wasn't a question that he was against answering. It was clear to most that he and his siblings weren't from here. They were supposedly only here for the Chunin Exams and he had currently escaped the supervision of his siblings (against Baki's orders).

"I'm here for the Chunin Exams."

Natasha  eyes  the  other  woman  for  a  moment.   A  skeptical  look  in  her  eyes  when  she  quickly  deflected.   Natasha  always  questioned  when  someone  was  that  quick  to  deflect  like  that.         (  it  usually  meant  that  they  were  hiding  something.  )   Now  she  just  needed  to  find  out  what  that  was.   Be  it  information  that  Natasha  could  use  ,  ┈┈  or  that  Quinn  might  potentially  use  against  her.   “  What  was  it  you  said  you  did  for  a  living?  ”   Not  that  she  didn't  know.   Of  course  she  did  ,  ┈┈  it  was  her  business  to  know.
