What got you into Taekwondo?

My aunt, actually! She got into it when she hurt her back, and she and I were very close. When I was seven or so, I thought it looked cool so my mom signed my brother and I up in it where my aunt was training. I loved it, and its stuck with me ever since.

Saw your post on the videos. It sucks your wishes were not respected by her but just remember that every martial artist or fighter who has pushed their limits have videos of losing a bigger fish. Its part of the game and what makes you stronger and if people don't recognize how hard it is to be perfectly crisp in competition do you really care about what they think?

I guess I’m just really sensitive when it comes to those kind of things. Like yeah, I trained really long and hard for that competition then, I just lost too easily in the end anyways. Like, I accepted the fact that I needed to train more and improve my fighting.

But hell, I seriously hate my failures getting broadcasted. Even worse, it’s my parents who broadcasted it. Though, they’ve said that both videos of my fights look good anyways… I just don’t feel comfortable with lots of people being able to see my mistakes.

I guess part of the game is getting criticized and having lots of people like, judge or watch your mistakes; but I’m just not all that emotionally ready for it I guess. But, thank you so much for the message! Really means a lot to me that somebody cares about how I felt about my competition videos being posted and whatnot.

I'm not a Taekwondo guy, I'm a Judo guy, but today someone (the ronin diaries) posted a photo of a guy kicking another guy in the face and I thought to myself: "I have better photos... way better".

So, being a little bit cocky like Conor McGregor (love the guy), here are some photos taken by me at a World University Championship.

End game lag is just soo painful when you play on a potato. I like playing big maps and epic but its so grindy at the end

This was on a small map with only three civs. I guess I was kind of asking for it, though, letting the game choose a random map type (turned out to be a Pangaea...) instead of my usual archipelago or fractal options.

This laptop struggle is real.

The zombie 5k app is super fun and It makes treadmill runs a lot less boring! Bonus points for using it during nighttime trail running. I tried that but it got to real to fast!

I should definitely do it on a treadmill! Then I wouldn't be looking around every time I saw some leaves rustle lol.
