7 Trajectory
I’m actually answering all the questions for each character that gets asked about. So you get 8 whole bonus answers!
1: sexuality headcanonShe’s an aromantic heterosexual.
2: otpStillwatch x Blacknet x Trajectory in a poly QPP (it’s not canon but I like it)
3: brotpStillwatch x Trajectory
4: notpTrajectory x Blacknet in a romantic relationship (other types of relationship are okay, though Blacknet would probably try to make them romantic anyway)
5: first headcanon that pops into my headShe loves sweets so much, probably has a secret stash of treats in her office. Never shares them with anyone, but Stillwatch knows where they are and sometimes sneaks one for herself.
6: favorite line from this characterNo idea, but >this incorrect quote< I picked for her is pretty cool.
7: one way in which I relate to this characterHonestly, I really don’t relate to her as much as a lot of my other characters. We’re very different types of people, with very different worldviews. But if I had to pick something, it would be how she’s not terribly social but cares intensely about the few people who are truly important to her.
8: thing that gives me second hand embarrassment about this characterNothing I can think of. She tends to be pretty reserved and doesn’t do much that’s embarrassing, which is a relief.
9: cinnamon roll or problematic fave? Problematic fave, for sure.
Poison, wine, trick
tender asks
Poison - Do you have an addiction?
Sometimes I get withdrawal symptoms when I stop drinking caffeine, if that counts. But due to a predisposition to addiction, I try to keep away from the usual addictive substances.
Wine - Do you drink?
No. I tend to avoid alcohol in the hopes of avoiding drunk people.
Trick - White lie or deceit?
I don’t understand the question. If it makes any difference, I don’t lie to hurt people. I do sometimes lie just to help myself, though. And I have a lot of secrets that I keep from a lot of people and intend to continue keeping for the foreseeable future. I don’t know which category that falls into.
15, 22 rebound
15. Is lying to others to gain their approval more important than being genuine and hated?
‘ Uh… Okay, so I feel like I’m supposed to say no here, but sometimes lying is the best option, right? Especially with someone like the boss, who’s not going to care if you’re being honest as long as you’re doing your job right. No reason to get myself in trouble saying what I think just for… what, my honor or something? My integrity? I don’t really have any of that in the first place. I think I was built without it. ’
22. How do you feel about having an intimate relationship with someone you don’t love? What if they love you in return? Does that make you feel guilty?
‘ I don’t really have a lot of, um… experience with that sort of thing. But, I mean, I think I would feel bad if someone loved me and I didn’t love them back. Even if we weren’t ‘intimate’ it seems like it would really hurt them a lot just to live with it, or get over it, or whatever. ’
Rebound and After-trace
Send me two character names and I’ll fill out the list for you:
Who is the clingy one?Gosh, they both seem like they could get a little clingy. Maybe Rebound, though. What with the guy basically managing to repeatedly cause the death or become the enemy of everyone he cares about. He’d want to keep her close. Really close.
Who is more likely to admit a mistake?I have no clue. Trace, maybe? She seems like she can be blunt like that. Rebound’s time serving under Trajectory has taught him the merits of keeping his mouth shut and his head down.
Would they lie to make each other happy?Maybe at first? But I think as time goes on, they’d value openness and cooperation with each other enough to prefer to face whatever unpleasantness they had to face together.
Who is more experimental (in bed)?I have absolutely no clue. Rebound’s honestly not well-versed in that particular area of expertise, honestly. So for him everything would seem pretty experimental– And I have no idea about Trace. No clue at all.
Who is more spontaneous?After-trace, probably. Rebound’s grown pretty timid over the years. He doesn’t trust his own judgement, so he’s not likely to do much that doesn’t have a predictable outcome.
What do they do to cheer up each other on a bad day?I mean, when they’re separated, there’s not much they can do. They probably talk about how much better things will be when they’re safe and together. And when that actually happens… I dunno. We haven’t gotten that far yet. Probably a lot of cuddling will be involved though. I imagine that after so much separation, physical closeness would be reassuring and mean a lot to them both.
Is there something they’d like to change about each other?Hmm.. I mean, nothing I can really think of. But the grand ship that is ReTrace has only just set sail on it’s journey, so who knows what heights of fluff and depths of angst it will reach?
How do they describe one another to other people?Rebound would probably just get all sappy and romantic. I mean, he’s definitely a hopeless romantic. So he’d probably get all worked up talking about how wonderful she is and how beautiful her eyes and and how perfectly put together her frame is and he’d just go on and on and on till he started repeating himself. I don’t really know how Trace would describe him. She might talk about how big a dork he is, or about how it can be endearing that he just can’t keep his emotions from showing on his face. I dunno, that’s all that really comes to mind.
How are they both handling money?Rebound’s honestly not that great with money. He’s pretty easily dazzled, and doesn’t have that good a grasp on how much things should actually be worth, so it’s a simple task to get him to buy cheaply made things at exorbitant prices. I don’t know how Trace is when it comes to handling funds.
Who is the more romantic one?I think they’ll both be pretty romantic. Rebound is a confirmed hopeless romantic, so if Trace can match that then it’ll really be a sight to behold.
Lazy days or adventure together? Who prefers what?I think they would like some lazy days. I imagine it would feel wonderful for them to have the luxury of just knowing that they’re existing near each other, and it was going to stay that way, and they wouldn’t have to worry about when the next time they’d be able to see each other’s face or hear each other’s voice again would be.
Who is the one to more likely initiate sex?Rebound’s a shy and easily overwhelmed dork so it’s probably not him. Not for a while at least. Maybe once they’re actually together, in the same physical location most of the time, he might get a little more confident.
If they had a pillow fight, who would win?I get the feeling that Rebound might try to let After-trace win, if only so he could get her with a surprise her with a cuddle attack once she thinks she’s defeated him. He’s a dork like that.
Who plans more cute surprises for the other?After-trace, I would think. Rebound worries so much, he would probably psyche himself out if he tried to surprise her with something nice and would end up just giving up on it.
Stillwatch and Trajectory
Send me two character names and I’ll fill out the list for you:
In the hypothetical situation in which these two ladies enter into some form of partnership…
Who is the clingy one?Stillwatch, no question at all.
Who is more likely to admit a mistake?Neither of them would be particularly thrilled about it, but if it was important Stillwatch would probably be the first to admit something had gone wrong. Trajectory would more likely do everything in her power to cover up the mistake without telling a soul.
Would they lie to make each other happy?Definitely. Both of them absolutely would. Stillwatch would feel guilty for it later, though. Trajectory wouldn’t.
Who is more experimental (in bed)?Trajectory. Still just aims to please, so she’s more into going along with a partner’s suggestions, however creative they might or might not be. Coming up with them herself isn’t something she’s very into. Trajectory is much more interested in exploring the possibilities.
Who is more spontaneous?Stillwatch, though she’s not actually all that spontaneous. Trajectory just prefers to always have a plan and a back up plan and probably a backup to the backup plan, so almost everyone is more spontaneous than she is.
What do they do to cheer up each other on a bad day?Trajectory would probably try to be a little more openly affectionate. She would probably sit down with Still and do some small but uncommon and sincere gesture, like sitting next to her and holding hands, and reminding Stillwatch of moments that highlight all the good qualities she so easily overlooks in herself.Meanwhile Still would probably freak out a bit, because she feels responsible for everything all the time. So she would have to leave to calm herself down and get herself into a mental state to be a help and not a burden, and then come back and try to cheer Trajectory up. She might flirt a bit, or try to be reassuring and sincere. Anything she could to help Trajec relax and feel better.
Is there something they’d like to change about each other?Trajectory wishes Stillwatch wouldn’t be so self-critical. While it has helped to push her to much greater heights of success than Trajec ever would have imagined she could achieve when they first met, she can also see all the damage it does to her partner’s sense of self-worth. Stillwatch judges herself so much more harshly than she judges anyone else. Everything is always her fault, and she never wants to be forgiven. Poor girl never lives up to her own impossible standards, and it’s just not good for her mental health.Stillwatch mostly just wishes Trajectory was more open to certain types of affection. She respects the boundaries that are in place, but it can occasionally be discouraging that Trajectory will react neutrally or even negatively to the types of affection that Stillwatch considers the most expressive of her feelings.
How do they describe one another to other people?Stillwatch would probably be pretty sarcastic, unless she’s doing some serious soul-bearing to someone she trusts. If that were the case, however, she’d be sighing and swooning with every adjective she could come up with to describe someone she considers so incredibly kind and intelligent and attractive.Trajectory would keep it pretty strictly professional. Let’s not forget that she is Stillwatch’s superior officer, and she has a reputation to keep.
How are they both handling money? They’re both pretty good at saving, though Trajectory is much more organized about it. Stillwatch is the sort to save her money by hoarding it in a box hidden somewhere in her room, and promising herself she won’t take any out unless she really, truly needs to. Meanwhile Trajectory’s the sort to craft and stick to a very carefully planned budget that allows her to put a little money aside every now and then and let the savings grow.
Who is the more romantic one?Stillwatch would be, but Trajectory is aromantic and romance-repulsed, so… Yeah, that’s just not gonna fly. Which would be pretty hard on them both sometimes, but they would probably be able to work it out.
Lazy days or adventure together? Who prefers what?Trajectory has no time for either. Occasionally Stillwatch might be able to pry her away from her desk to go on a quick adventure, though.
Who is the one to more likely initiate sex?It might be Trajectory, though it’s not a question I’ve ever given much thought to. She’s more demanding, for sure. Trajec’s kind of used to being in charge of Stillwatch, so it wouldn’t surprise me if she was more likely to initiate things like that. Stillwatch can be pretty open about her intentions toward someome she’s attracted to, though, so I’m sure she wouldn’t always be the one on the receiving end.
If they had a pillow fight, who would win? They probably wouldn’t have a pillow fight, but if they did I think it would most likely end in a tie. Stillwatch might win, though, because she’d feel compelled to playfully one-up the boss when she can.
Who plans more cute surprises for the other?Stillwatch plans a lot more surprises. She’s just more openly affectionate in general. Where she’ll show she cares with a midnight serenade or a surprise trip to some beautiful place she heard of, Trajectory prefers to show her affection with small smiles and encouraging words and just a few moments of her valuable time taken away from work to enjoy her partner’s company.

Rebound Character Profile
requested by @theroyalsharkbait
Full Name: Rebound of (to be determined) Gender and Sexuality: Male, Biromantic Bisexual Pronouns: He/him Ethnicity/Species: Cybertronian (Constructed, MTO) Birthplace and Birthdate: I’m still deciding which battle, and exactly when. So I’m not sure yet. It was one of the later ones, though. By the time he got his first look at Cybertron, it really didn’t seem like a world worth fighting for, let alone dying for. Guilty Pleasures: He practices “cool” moves and poses and stuff to seem impressive and confident and unique, but he never actually uses them. He gets too nervous or too caught up in what he’s doing to actually use any of them. Besides, he knows they’re kinda dumb anyway. He wouldn’t mind acting in a play or something, where he can be as dramatic as he wants. Phobias: No proper phobias, but he’s scared of ghosts. He believes they exist, claim to have seen some, and it absolutely terrified that he’s going to be haunted. He’ll startle at anything that goes bump in the night. What They Would Be Famous For: Murder? What They Would Get Arrested For: Also murder. OC You Ship Them With: After-trace, but if you mean out of my OCs, then it would have to be... Civic. OC Most Likely To Murder Them: Teal or Blacknet. It’s a toss up, they’d probably fight each other over who gets to do it. Favorite Movie/Book Genre: He likes movies more than books, and probably enjoys the ones based on popular YA novels. Can’t be bothered to read them, though. Least Favorite Movie/Book Cliche: Almost every type of successful Heroic Sacrifice. If it doesn’t succeed, though, he actually doesn’t mind. Talents and/or Powers: Good balance and spatial awareness. And he can use two handguns at once if he has to, though he usually doesn’t. Why Someone Might Love Them: Despite all his many, many mistakes, there’s still a lot of good in him. He’s always so confused and afraid and vulnerable, but with a little help he has the potential to grow a lot as a person and become someone much better than he has been. If you believe he’ll actually succeed, that could be a good reason. You’d have to look past a lot of really bad mistakes, though. Why Someone Might Hate Them: He’s disloyal and self-serving most of the time. He’s not proud of it, but he’d betray just about anyone if it meant he might have better odds of making it out alive. He has no conviction. He believes in nothing. How They Change: Honestly, his arc is still developing, and a pretty major part just got added that will definitely change him a lot as a person and totally shift the direction of his character development. But he starts to gain a better understanding of his place in the world, and the face that just because he can make his own decisions, they may not always be the best ones. He learns to take advice and constructive criticism sometimes without getting defensive or lashing out, which is a pretty useful skill to have. Why You Love Them: He’s kind of pathetic in a way, which makes him a bit endearing to me. Though I am constantly torn between being pissed at him for the horrible stuff he does, and being sympathetic because he really just doesn’t know what else to do and would never have done most of those things if he thought he had any other options. With the new introduction of tons of fluff possibilities, though, I’m sure I’ll develop a bit nicer things for me to like about him.
