A lot of times, I write or post something solely in a moment. I am not necessarily thinking ahead or considering how a moment today will help me tomorrow. What I love about God, though, is that HE knows. I shared this 1 year ago, and today -- 1 year later -- this has encouraged me. BIG time. I call posts like this treasures and nuggets. Little treasures and little nuggets that God had me to record for times beyond the moment I was in when I wrote them down. They have been written in journals, in status updates, in picture captions, in articles, etc; and, in time, God leads me to unsurface them and consider them again. It's like HE specifically leaves them for me to find -- even though when they were shared, it was to encourage others. So when I do find them, I am just in awe of Him. I find answers. Answers He had so graciously given for questions my life hadn't yet asked....😢😢😢😢😢😢 This is why we must write and record the purposes and times and plans and beauties of HIS heart. There are answers -- for now and later -- in what we write. There are freedoms in our pens that will stir the heart of men to go on believing, to go on trusting, to go on pursuing the heart of King Jesus. Writer, keep writing. Above ALL, keep seeking after God so that you know what TO write. Let the voice of God instruct and shepherd your pen. Be strengthened. Be whole. And be encouraged.
