Man, it’s been too long since I did some digital art! I was being experimental with this one, especially with the background and textures! Let me know if it worked! A scene that’ll appear (eventually) in Princes in Waiting.
Hizashi lifted his letter and turned his attention away from the window. Green eyes scanned over the Arasurese words. “She hasn’t found a husband for me,” he summarised gently. “Not yet, anyway. She has a few in mind, but hasn’t reached a final decision, although she assures me she’ll reach one soon. Apparently she’s awaiting a quick return messenger to bring her word about what the ball theme will be, although she insinuates she expects the theme’ll be ‘red based’...” He sighed and closed his eyes as he leaned back against the stone frame of the oriel window.
However, Shouta wasn’t fooled. “She said something else,” he accused. Hizashi reacted by instantly opening his eyes again. “You wouldn’t be acting this down if she hadn’t.”
