Just now, 7 children burst into the store where I work. They were a lot of fun and very cute. One of the girls started talking to me and this is what happened:
Little girl with cute pink hat: "Do you own a pet?"
Me: "Yes, I have a beautiful Labrador Retriever. :)"
Girl: "Do you own a man?"
Me: "..." "umm" "..." "no?"
Girl: "Do you own a baby?"
Me: "Haha no! I'm just 21! Haha"
Girl: "And? My mom had me when she was about 20."
Another girl: "Yeah same here."
Girl: "Why don't you have a baby? Or a man?"
Boy: "You need to find someone."
Me: "I have a fiance though, we're just not married."
Girl: "WHY NOT?"
... am I ... old? Am I supposed to be having kids? And get married? Now? I just want to run around and have fun. See the world and meet new people every day. I wanna run around in clothes cosplaying cartoon characters.
That awkward moment when you have a chat with a kid that goes like:
Me: Ok guys, stay here, I'm just gonna go to the bathroom really quick.
2 yr old boy: Ooh! I wanna come too!
Me: Uh..no you have to stay here.
Boy: But I need to!
