fic title: the ghost in the closet (ﾉ◕ヮ◕)ﾉ*:･ﾟ✧
Well, there’s a lot of ways this one could go. But I’m a sucker for family bonding, and I haven’t written a lot of Dani despite the amount of potential she’s packing, so how about... a story where Danny’s parents come into his room while Dani is there too, so she hides in the closet. But, well. Hiding in a closet isn’t easy, his parents catch her (in human form, thankfully), and a whole lot of confusion happens. Danny tries to play her off as his sister, who... his parents don’t know about for some reason? It’s probably completely ridiculous, but his parents can’t deny that she does look a lot like Danny (and like them), so... he must be right! So Dani gets brought into the family, which is when her more... ghostly habits start leaking through. After all, she’s not as used to hiding her powers as Danny is. And their parents? They’re probably starting to worry that Dani might either be a ghost pretending to be their kid, or more worryingly, that she’s a dead relative.
In the end it would probably all turn out alright. Dani and Danny end up telling them the whole truth, with Danny lightly grumping about Dani giving away his secret after he worked so hard to keep it.
