“you could say that,” shoko answers without looking up from her work, monotone as usual.  she doesn’t show it, but of course, her work enthralls her.  the more mangled, the better — more of a challenge that way, she sighs lovingly.

shoko snorts at the thought.  ridiculous.  he’s been watching too many movies again.  “y’know, gojou, sometimes i’m really glad you aren’t a medical professional.  ah, but then again, you really aren’t cut out for this kind of work anyway.”
