   Now, the Squid Sisters are probably used to people coming up to them, and asking for autographs or whatever, so Short at least tries to resist asking all the usual stuff, but... She’s very excited.

“H-hi!! I um! I-I don’t want to be a bother but! I am a very big fan!!” She’s really hoping these two keep up with Turf Wars - they might even know who she is, or at the very least what team she’s from! “I was just wondering - i-if it’s not too much trouble! B-but uh, I was wondering if it w-would be okay if um, we hung out for a little while? J-just in the Square or something, uh. I-I have some muffins I made earlier that you can try!!”

Goodness gracious, how was she going to possibly keep her composure around someone so important to Inkling culture. How should she approach this situation, perhaps with a ‘What’s up?’ or maybe a ‘How’re you doing?’ would be more appropriate.

   Brooke had never really thought of herself as having good luck - the only contest she’d ever won before now was the one that had netted her a free tent - besides that, nothing.

Until... a few days ago, anyway. ‘Win a day out with Callie of the Squid Sisters!’ Just buy a drink, enter the contest, and wait.

When she’d walked back into the store to check the results, she’d walked in expecting the worst - she probably wouldn’t even get runner up, if her luck lately had anything to say about it.

But now, she was walking into the ‘amusement park’ she’d been so curious about with an idol - with her idol.

She’s somewhat overwhelmed with emotion right now, so forgive her if she sounds like she’s gonna start crying.

“U-um. So!” She finally speaks up, after having been totally silent during the trip here. “H-have... you been here before, M-Miss Callie? I-I haven’t uh. been to a uh... to-” She’s... forgotten the name of it again. “I haven’t b-been to this... park place. yet.” Good enough. “S-so you’ll h-have to tell me what e-everything is, I think...” And only a little bit of an awkward laugh to finish it off - she’s doing better than usual.
