Did you know that there is a World Record for the largest book domino chain? No seriously, there is! The current record is held by the William Jewell College in Liberty, Missouri for a domino chain constructed of 2,410 books!

Now, although their chain is really impressive, we are partial to the chain that holds second place, created by The Seattle Public Library. Back in 2013 The Seattle Public Library created their book domino chain to kick-start their Summer Reading Program. A total of 27 volunteers organized 2,131 books into a truly extraordinary chain that swirls itself all over the library and incorporates color coded sections as well as the word “Read”!
