We're doing a song off this record tonight on CONAN! #Repost @moby: I just got my vinyl copy of #thesesystemsarefailing and it's really cool cos it has a 3d lenticular cover which is very psychedelic and makes my brain feel like it's relapsing on mescaline somewhere in the desert with Johnny cash as a spirit guide fox. O clipe foi feito pelo ilustrador e animador inglês Steve Cutts para ilustrar a música “Are You Lost in The World Like Me?”. Nela Moby critica...

um dos principais assuntos referente ao comportamento humano diante do uso desenfreado e inconsciente da tecnologia, em especial dos smartphones. Aos seus 51 anos, o DJ, fotografo e músico Moby chega demonstrando sua personalidade ativista em um álbum recheado de letras que mostram a visão crítica do artista sobre um sistema sistema capitalista que segundo ele, estão caindo. Como o próprio nome do álbum sugere.

Há um outro clipe da música “Don't Leave Me“ que mescla imagens do músico com em cia da sua banda e imagens dos maus-tratos que os animais sofrem no confinamento para a morte certa. Curiosidades: Moby é praticante do veganismo e um engajado defensor dos direitos animais, tendo aberto até um restaurante vegano em 2015. Earth's abounding beauty is so refreshing. Life has been evolving and flourishing in these springs for thousands of years. As Nikola Tesla said and as scientists and engineers now understand, "electric power is everywhere present in unlimited quantities and can drive the world's machinery without the need of coal, oil, gas or any other of the common fuels." The condition of Australia's Great Barrier Reef, as well as all of the world's water, is a warning from nature that the planet can only take so much. All life is intertwined, and living ecosystems should never be degraded for the sake of money or efficiency. Earth has provided everything we love, the least we can do is love it back. 💙🐟
