Now that generation 10 (Kyra) has been birthed, the Sims 3 Legacy Challenge has been completed.

I wanted to add a few things that have happened over the 463 Sims days that it took.

Now the first generation started with nothing, but after 10 generations the family owns 6 businesses:

Athletic Stadium, Theater, Hospital, Bistro, Diner, and Warehouse

The house is appraised at $344,186 furnished and the funds ended at $87,197

Each heir completed a different lifetime wish:

Amber- Celebrated Five Star Chef

Chelsea- Illustrious Author

Darrell- Fairy Tale Finder

Elisia- Surrounded By Family

Fiona- Professional Author

Gwen- Chess Legend

Hope- Become a Superstar Athlete

Isabelle- Swimming in Cash

Jennifer- Heartbreaker

Kyra- ...just being born is good enough

Fun facts:

-Each heir got married in the exact same spot in the yard

-Chelsea’s paintings were hung all over the house and never have been sold after she died. Her first painting that she made as a child was originally appraised at $2 is not worth over $1,000.

-After achieving level 10 of the culinary field, Amber received a special fridge and it has been in the household all this time.

-Names were chronological in the alphabet, but the letter B was skipped since the last name started with B

-Hope had the most children with 7 total, including Imogene; Elisia and Isabelle both had 6 children

-Isabelle was the only heir that was not intended to be the heir. Her late sister Imogene was intended to be the heir with her lifetime wish as the Emperor of Evil. Isabelle was initially going to continue this lifetime wish, but did not possess the “Evil” trait and thus changed to Swimming in Cash

-Darrell was the first twin and only heir to own pets

-Chelsea was the only heir proposed to by her husband

-Hope lived the longest life with over 100 days

-Fiona was the only heir to adopt children

-Elisia was the only heir to get married twice

-The house was never really completed by the end of the challenge

-During this challenge the Sims 3 Pets and Generations expansion packs were used.

-Chelsea, Elisia, Hope, Isabelle, and Jennifer all had multiples. Isabelle was the only heir to have triplets

-Each heir had a book written on their lives; Isabelle had 2 books because she switched her lifetime wish in the middle of her life

-In the house each heir had a specific object that was showcased:

Amber- guitar (she was a party animal)

Chelsea- painting (loved painting)

Darrell- picnic basket (farm life)

Elisia- teddy bear (first heir to have a lot of kids and a max household)

Fiona- book (author...wrote a lot of flops)

Gwen- chess table (smart person)

Hope- baseball (athlete)

Isabelle- crown (rich)

Jennifer- roses (for having a player reputation around town)

Week 65, Part 1!

SURPRISE, Jennifer popped the question first. Jen knew about Keith’s plans. She was tired of waiting around so she got right to it the day after Keith was SUPPOSED to propose.

Leading up to the wedding, Jen had a big bachelorette party. Julianna gave a toast that lit up the whole room. Even Isabelle had a fun time and flirted with one of the dancers.

On a side note, Jill had an eventful week. She had prom and was elected prom queen and then she aged up to adulthood. Jill moved out and went to go live with her sister Julianna.

The next day Jennifer and Keith got married. It was an exciting day for the couple. There were rings, kissing, cake, and lots of dancing.

Week 64 (pt 2...sorta)

So I wanted to dedicate this post to Jennifer’s lifetime wish. I did not get to capture all of her boyfriends, but she did in fact have 10. I could only fit in 7 anyways in order to continue the rest of the plot for this week. In order to keep the identities hidden for each of these men I took pictures without showing their faces (not all sims consent to being a part of this blog... -_-)

Anyways, so about halfway through the challenge Jennifer fell head over heels for one of her boyfriends. Unfortunately they did have to break up, but then Jennifer came back begging for forgiveness and asked him to be her boyfriend again. Well, Keith was not very happy with Jennifer. He did love her and she took him for granted. It took some time, but Keith did give Jennifer to OK and they did go out again.

Later that week Keith asked Isabelle for her daughter’s hand. Of course Isabelle welcomed Keith to the family. Keith wanted to ask Jennifer to marry him in the perfect way....but he never had the chance to do it this week. :(

Week 64

This week was full of events, so it will be a two part week!

The triplets all aged up to adults. And with that they all found girls that they want to spend the rest of their lives with. Jonathan and James both proposed to their high school sweethearts. Joel fell in love out of no where and got married right away. With that, all three of the boys moved out.

The house is much smaller now. It’s just Isabelle, Jennifer, and Jill at home.

Good news is that Jennifer finished her lifetime goal. She managed to be the girlfriend of 10 different sims. The next post will show just a few of the people she met on her journey.

Week 63

First Julianna and Jennifer aged up to be young adults. With that, Julianna moved out to live on her own. Isabelle gave the eldest a housewarming gift and best wishes in the real world. Jennifer chose her lifetime wish to be a heartbreaker. This means that she has to be the girlfriend of 10 different sims. Isabelle also aged up to be an older adult/elder.

Jill aged up to be a teenager. This week. Now there are only 4 teens in the household. Jill has to fight her way with 3 older brothers.

On another happy note, James met a girl and they are now dating. Jonathan has a gf too, but I forgot to take a picture of them too!

Week 62

Not much to follow up on this week. James, Jonathan, and Joel aged up to be teenagers. Jill aged up to childhood. This week Isabelle worked on coping after losing Derrick. It has been a struggle, but she really has pulled off the single mom life.

Some more news: a new heir has been named. Since the last few heirs have been the youngest, I decided to make the middle daughter the next heir: Jennifer! After she ages into a younger adult she will carry on the next and LAST generation.

Week 55

This week started out bad. Ivan had been skipping school and found out that he was failing. Jeremie grounded him and even sent him to a time out (it was pretty funny to watch...) Hope worried about her son, but Ivan tried to reassure her. With graduation just a week away for him, Ivan began to take his work seriously and even joined a study club at school to keep his grades up.

Another achievement that is not usually mentioned is that Ivory finally learned how to drive. While this is not a big achievement since most of the teenagers learn how to drive fairly quickly, let me explain why. Unlike her brothers, Ivory to FOREVER to learn. For at LEAST 8 days Ivory would go home from school and ask her parents to teach her to drive. After an hour or two she would get frustrated and stop. It was quite irritating, especially since Ivan learned in probably five minutes. So FINALLY, Ivory learned how to drive. After this, Ivory decided to take the family out in celebration.

Another milestone achieved is that Hope reached her lifetime goal of becoming a Superstar Athlete (Level 9) of the professional sports career. After that she retired. Now she and Jeremie can spend the rest of their lives together without having to go to work everyday.

Last but not least twins Isabelle and Ian grew up to be teenagers. Time has definitely flown by with this large family.
