Maybe the werewolf that killed Laura was not only responsible for clawing up Malia's family's car, but also for biting Victoria Argent. All these little things could add up together.

Ah, now there's a theory. I like it.

There is evidence that a powerful werewolf has been lurking around in the Preserve for some time, and if it's an alpha, it would explain a lot.

It's still not quite as plausible as a lot of small continuity errors, but one explanation for many discrepancies seems fairly plausible, especially given what we've been shown in S4 so far.

you know all the hales we've seen so far have had dark hair (derek, cora, laura, peter, talia, even malia before dying it), so maybe parrish really is a hale and that's why the writers or whoever had ryan kelley dye his hair brown.

YES. Good observation! And there’s also this interview, where Kelley basically says that he auditioned for Scott and later Isaac but in both instances he didn’t have enough muscle (although personally I think he’s pretty fineee right now). So either Parrish’s role is supposed to be a supernatural that’s not all about strength or he’s not supernatural at all, which makes me suspect he’s the benefactor. Clearly his character is not supposed to be a werewolf. But we’ve been told not all children born from werewolves become werewolves, so that doesn’t mean he can’t be a Hale. (in fact if he weren’t a werewolf, that would give him more reasoning to want to kill the Hales)

And if you look at Ryan Kelley and Michael Fjordbak (guy who played young!Peter Hale), they look very similar. Everyone speculated that Parrish would be Peter’s son, but what if they weren’t far off? What if he’s his brother or cousin or something? I’ve no idea why a fellow Hale would want to kill his family members, but there’s a lot we don’t know about the family. If we’re only judging by appearances, Parrish definitely looks like he fits into the Hales.

Yeah, then the TW facebook game had him at another date, then the calendar had him in September, I think.  It's so scattered I'm not believing anything until it goes canon on the show.  (Although I'll totally take April if that means they're going to start Sterek sometime after that.  ;) )
