a peak inside of my brain and the spill canvas while crows are on the roof
I have never tried to be friends with the crows. The morning after my birthday Justin found an old chain on the back porch. It took me a few days, but the crows like to play on the roof over my bedroom. We have a tin roof and it's a cool sound...(I don't doubt that's inspiration from someone trying to help me btw) I googled to see how to communicate back. I have to build them a platform or something to feed them from but I just heard them on the roof and took some nuts and put them on the railing. What if they're trying to teach me something too?
The Spill Canvas is in Durham. One of my best friends for life is going to be there. The other date is Greenville/Spartanburg on Tuesday the 5th. I read the tour dates and knew I had to go to the 5th. The pull to go farther was because I'm fucking terrified. I also love Eric more than I could ever describe, but maybe there's something to this. Eric and I both lost a sibling. They had the same birthday as I do. Our first year without them we were at The Spill Canvas in Charlotte. I will never forget that night as long as I live. It was Evans birthday. As I'm typing this Eric texts me happy belated birthday. Fuck I'm going tonight and Tuesday. Fuck. Let's do thissssssssss I guess.
I follow the clues on days like today. The loud is the compass and fuck if music isn't apart of that. I'll leave tonight early and stay the entire night on Tuesday...maybe.
I've put a lot on Nicks shoulders and he's apart of my brain team. Maybe this is how I return the favor and be the magic he needs for balance.
Tonight is sold out. So Tuesday the second it will be.
Not the 5th. The second. Mark wasn't a junior. He was a second.
