okay but: A longmire episode where Deena is in serious trouble and she catches wind of the 'Hector Lives' so she leaves a note for him and Standing Bear actually has to help her out again

I don’t know that Deena would have the right to leave Hector a note. She isn’t Cheyenne and doesn’t live on the Res. Hector did what he did because of Malaki’s crony police force and the lack of what they did for the people on the Res,so…. 

But if Henry did need to step in to help her, it would have to be for a VERY good reason, given what she did to him. Henry is wonderful but a saint he ain’t. I have a feeling he could hold a grudge with the best of them.

And I can’t help but want it to be a reason that requires her laying low, so maybe he sticks her with May because for some reason the people after her wouldn’t think to check the Rez. Of course, May would get upset because he wants her to hide this lady? The same lady who helped to take the Red Pony away from him? Because let’s face it, May is one of Henry’s biggest fans and I kinda love her for it.

And one day, Henry comes by to check on them/get information from Deena and May just gives him a look. Just raises her eyebrows as if to say “You really dated this woman? What the hell is wrong with you Standing Bear?”

What can I say…I am a Henry/May shipper trash. Except for the slight cracks every once in a while when I start to wonder about Henry/Cady. But that doesn’t happen that often.

Now i just want a whole episode dedicated to Mathias and how much stuff he has to clean up oh my gosh. Also, does what is going on with Henry kinda make you think of Branch? (okay p.s. I don't know who Yoshi is either but sorry if I spoiled anything)

Yoshi is thewanderingdreamer and she will survive. I hope. Did we spoil anything for you? What episode are you on? Did that first one break you? I need to message you and talk all this out. 

Anyway.

This season showed me a lot more Mathias and I almost fell in love. I need more Mathias. Hopefully next season BECAUSE THERE WILL BE A SEASON 5 YOU HEAR ME? we will get to see more of him with Cady working on the Rez. I loved that scene with the two of them and him saying he should take a “Before” picture. I know some people are pulling the white savior card on that story line, but in the books she studied Native American Studies when she went to college, before she became a lawyer, because she was so close to Henry. She chose to go to the college he went to for crying out loud. He’s her god futzing damn hero. So if anything, it’s her loving a people, because of one person she loves, and seeing something she is qualified to help with. And that story line means more Native American voices in media and actors getting jobs. 

Sorry, got sidetracked.   

So yes. I just kinda want a web series about Mathias. My heart almost broke when he was talking about trying to gain people’s trust after Malachi. He cares so much about his people and he has a grudge against those that have hurt them in the past. I feel like in past seasons his character was put into the “villain” box and wasn’t let out. They let him out of that box this year, along with Jacob Night Horse, and it makes me so unbelievably happy. 

Also, can the man get a last name? I hate it when characters don’t have last names. 

I think that Henry and Branch share some similarities in that they both went rogue. Both were doing so out of a sense of justice. For Branch it was justice for himself, as most things were. He wanted to be justified and proven not crazy. He needed to be right. He needed people to know he was right. 

Whereas for Henry, he felt responsible for taking the Rez’s muscle and enforcer away. He saw what people were going through. The moment he read that first note, there was no going back. I knew what was going to happen when he was debating whether to open the notes or not. Because that is who Henry is. He sees his people suffering and cannot let it go knowing he took away their chance to make it stop. So he took on the mantle of Hector and did something about it. And i love it. I think the mirrored actions were great to watch.
