march 3, 2017 / i recently hit 500 ahh ty!!! this is what’s in my pencil case & the links to everything are under the cut! (+commentary no one asked for lmao)
i. lihit lab pen case; (i don’t know where the pin is from i’m sorry) i bought this at the beginning of 2016 but it still looks and feels brand new
ii. paper mate mechanical pencils 0.7mm; for some reason this is the only brand of pencil i can use and idk why but i love the way it makes my ugly handwriting look
iii. uniball signo 207 pens; really smooth ink
iv. poppin metallic gel ink pens; i love these gel pens but in the pack i got, one of the pens was broken so i had to throw it out which sucked
v. bic bright liner highlighters; these highlighters are great for annotating in books bc they don’t bleed through !!!
vi. pigma micron pens; these were a recent purchase that i originally got for inktober but i still love using them
vii. 0.5 lead; yeah ik my pencils are 0.7 but i bought a huge bulk of 0.5 lead and threw away the package so now i need to use all of it
viii. sticky notes; my aunt got me this huge package of 15 sticky notes a few years ago and i split them w my sister
ix. white out pen; works pretty well and tbh it’s nearly the same as these
Hiya, two things! 1.) I think the people you chose are fantastic and I'll be following the ones that I'm not already following, haha. Especially now knowing some are multilingual/bilingual that's awesome for this community! Sorry that you keep getting hate on your choices... you're awesome for doing the studynet in the first place! 2.) I saw the ask about applications opening again soon and I was wondering if applicants from the last batch have to re-apply? Thanks! :D

no, applicants from the last batch do not have to reapply! i will be taking a much closer look at all the applicants this time around
the only circumstances under which you should reapply is if you have changed your url since submitting your original application. if that is the case, do indicate that in your entry!

just received 2 v. similar questions so i’m going to answer them both at once :)
applications will be closed for at least a few weeks! you can still enter if you haven’t already, but i won’t be looking at any survey responses until then.
i made a giant chart comparing all the studyblrs who entered, their areas of expertise, activity levels, and follower count so that it’s a well-rounded group that can collectively answer questions about a wide range of topics. i then looked at the individual blogs to pick out the most organized ones and kept an eye out for how they answered questions/gave advice. i hope this answers your question!
when do the applications for the study network close?
i think i’m going to close them tomorrow (temporarily) because there are so many applications, but i will reopen them after i pick the first bunch of members!
