oct 19 | just returned from a long day of school to find this package from @arystudies waiting for me!!! i’m so happy omg
Hii. Sorry I'm new here.. what are benefits if I join to the comunity net here? Can I join even tho I have studyblr as a sideblog? Can I still join? Thank you very much! Have a nice day
Hi! I’m still working on getting the study net up and running. I’m currently in the process of adding people to the members’ page, which is taking some time, as I’m going through 650+ entries and trying to categorize everyone. Yes, side blogs + main blogs are both welcome, as long as one of them is a studyblr! Also, the benefits (once the network is fully created) is having a giant list of people with all different specialties to refer to, discovering studyblrs from your age group and location, and having a forum to reblog your original content and view other people’s stuff !! I hope this answers your question :)

hey so sorry to ask you this, but how did you get your members page to work? i am using the same theme, but i can't get the header links to organize properly and none of the blogs i am listing are showing up
hey! it took me a while to figure out, but you have to make sure the button names (command + f + button) match up with the ones for each individual member if that makes sense?? I can probably be of more help to you if you come off anon + answer you privately though! If you’re really having trouble, I would recommend reaching out to @cyantists.

UPDATE!!
Hi everyone!
I’ve been going through the applications for the study net and trying to select a diverse bunch, when I realized that there’s really no point in being exclusive. Everyone who applied is a studyblr, so why leave some people out? As of now, I’m admitting all applicants to the study net. It’ll take a while, but I’ve already begun messaging people and adding them to the network blog. Hope you all have a lovely day/night!

One of my final exams is on European History (though a big part of the lessons are mostly centered on my country's history), like WW2, Communism & Nazism & Stalinism, etc. But I can't seem to concentrate and memorize the information. What can I do?
OK I TOOK AP EURO THIS YEAR SO I CAN HELP U!!!At the beginning of the year, I spent 34349 years on my notes and still got the same grades as I did when I made normal notes, so don't worry about making it gorgeous.
What worked for me was identifying and focusing on key terms and people. and making them stand out. I actually started doing this during the Russian Revolution unit, and continued to do so until my notes on the Cold War. Ok so what i did was I assigned a color to each country (Russia was green, Germany was red, France was blue, England was purple, etc.) and I would write key words pertaining to that country in its assigned color. I also like to emphasize goals or results of specific events. For example:
The Reign of Terror is when the radicals began to use terror to accomplish the goals of the French Revolution
Goal: strike terror into the hearts of the enemies of the revolution
Much more than a coup d’etat; continues even after the monarchs are dead
Note Enlightenment influence!! Rousseau said people must be forced to be free
Result: Robespierre creates the Committee of Public Safety (a subsection of the Convention)
so basically anything that’s in bold here would be written in blue in my notes and everything that’s normal would just be in black ink.
Also I would highly recommend drawing pictures to help you remember! Like I drew the Escorial and the Winter Palace in my notes and it definitely saved me
Also check out some videos! If you search crash course, John Green has some really informative videos, and Tom Richey has some valuable info as well.
I hope this helps!!

Hey! I'm loving this blog. It's been helping and next year I hope to take better notes, study more, and practice practice practice. I just wanted to ask what type of notebooks you recommend for note-taking and such?
That’s fantastic! I’m so glad that you find the blog helpful. It really depends on what you’re looking for! 5-star/Mead have some really great, reasonably priced notebooks that are great for taking notes in class, and there’s always the standard composition notebook. I really like muji’s a5 notebooks personally, as the lines are more tightly spaced, which is good for me because I have small handwriting (also they’re like 3 bucks which is great)
I hope this helps!

update!!
Hi everyone! this is long overdue, but I am reviving the study net. I’ve been trying to focus on schoolwork for the last few months, but my last exam is tomorrow, so after that I can afford to devote much more time to looking through all those applications!
I decided that I’m going to start releasing the new members based on subjects, so I plan to look through the applications and pick out the langblrs, then post the science studyblrs, etc.
I’m also going to go through my inbox and answer any questions that you’ve forwarded to the study net over the past few months.
here is the original post if you’re interested in joining!
much love,
adi @studyplants
