Crosshair feels a twinge of jealousy over the bond his son shares with the others - even though Asher literally worships his Dad - but at the same time, it warms his heart knowing Asher is so loved by his family when all of his life he himself has felt ostracized. He’s glad Asher fits in better than he ever did.
Hunter is definitely not ready up give up the Ramser’ika just yet, too immersed in the scent and the feel of his tiny nephew against his chest, but Crosshair needs his fatherly time too and Hunter of all people understands that.
Still, he’s not gonna give Asher up complaisantly. XD
