There are a lot of things to love about him, but here are a few of my favorites

For many years he had the same name as a famous explorer, but he claimed he had changed it so no one could confuse him with the real guy

"Siberia, a country on earth, and a river on the earth, are very close together"

Tunks sometimes writes on the wall of his hut the words "Esteemed Master, Tunka Tusk" with the space between Tunka and Tusk exactly the right amount

One of his favorite activities was the "Tunkanat" dance, a sort of Russian-style folk dance, which he would do while smoking a cigarette and holding a cigarette

Find yet more cool bugs (that's a lot of things)

Have a cool experience in a cool place (a cave)

Eat cool other creatures

Run out of food and return to civilization

Wade about in the water, being wet

I guess... I am not going to say I am not a creature of habit!
