"If I wanted to leave I would have left by now."
"No, no I don't think so. There's no TARDIS for you here. You would need to get away from the planet because you know not only would I, but Mum, Dad and half of Torchwood would be coming after you."
"If you can't move on then that's fine." He spoke softly and gave her hand a gentle squeeze. "There isn't anyone else out there for me, and I wouldn't even want to try and look. Even if you can't move on, I'll always be here for you until you don't want me anymore."
"Doctor.." Rose said and hung her head in shame. There was no good reason for her to be the way she was, the Doctor wasn't coming back. This Doctor though, he was here, he was sticking around, why couldn't she be happy. "You're my best friend, how could I not want you around?" She asked him and squeezed his hand back. "I care about you so much..I just..I don't think I could move on with you completely until I am sure, it's not fair to you.."
"Never." The Doctor gave her a smile as he threaded their fingers. "You can't rush how you feel and I'm not going anywhere because everything I want is right here. In front of me."
Rose shook her head. "Sometimes I don't think I deserve you. What if..what if I can't move on..I can't expect you to wait forever..and I wouldn't want you to. You only have one life now Doctor.."
"You're not broken, Rose. You were hurt," He sighed, "I know that you need more time and I'll continue to be here for you until you tell me to go."
She looked up at him. "You're not going to get tired of waiting around?" She reached out and grabbed his hand. "I..I wish I could just let it all go you know? We could move on and yes, I mean we. I'm holding you back too."

Rose smiled and ran her fingers through his hair. "Of course..you're spoiled..that's what you are." It was a lazy Sunday afternoon but they needed to get up soon to get ready for dinner with her parents.
