You can also get water. Our strong point is our original Thai recipes. Because of that, we’re able to give you typical Thai tea.
We don’t serve alcohol, because in Thailand, they won’t give you alcohol because religion. Because we want to recreate Thailand as good as possible, we don’t serve alcohol either.

Our headcook
Hey, my name is Jens Borghgraef. I am the head chef of The Thai Tanic. I have a Hotelschool degree and have 25+ years of experience in the kitchen. I have worked 4 different kitchens throughout my career. I travel a lot, and when I travel i visit asian countries to experience their culture, try new tastes and just enjoy their style of cooking. In the past, I have worked as a sidecook in 2 Asian restaurants aswell, which were both located in Thailand.
Thai food is certainly unique, but it did not get this way on its own. Some 2,000 years ago, many Chinese immigrants made their way to Thailand, and they brought their cuisine with them. From soy sauce to rice, the staple of the Thai diet originated in China. Of course, Thai people put their own spin on most of these dishes and traditions, however, those devouring a Thai meal might want to thank the Chinese for the role they played whatever meal they’re eating.

Regardless of the time of day, Thai people will eat whatever it is they like, whenever they like. When it comes to food, there is no differentiation between what is considered breakfast, lunch, or dinner. There are Thai dishes that are more popular in the morning, however, they are also eaten regularly at all times of the day.
Our main waiter
Hello everyone, Stan is the main waiter in our restaurant. As a kid he was playing restaurant the whole time. Now he is so glad that his dream came true. He will work in the most beautifull resaurant of London. He hopes he will give you a nice time and is looking forward to see you.
Who is our manager?
The manager of The Thai Tanic, Daan Anné, has already gained much experience in his childhood as the son of the manager of a hotel restaurant. He loved to help his father as hand of the manager. He didn’t only just help the cooks and waiters, but also "commanded” what everyone had to do. Since his 20th birthday, he opened his first restaurant in Dubai. 10 years later, he moved away to London, where he opened The Thai Tanic.
