She wasn’t entirely sure how it happened. One second they’d been arguing over the course she’d plotted on the nav computer ( of course he wanted to go a different route ) then the next second his lips had been pressed against hers. She should have pushed him away, reminded him of the Code, but instead she grabbed at the front of his robes, anchoring him in place. Just for a moment. One moment, that was all... ( A long moment, perhaps. ) 

A moment too long, perhaps, before she pulled away slowly. “ We shouldn’t... we promised each other. If Ferus or Anakin walked in... ”

She’d waited until she was alone to look at her shoulder. The blasterbolt had only grazed it, but she didn’t want Ferus to worry any more than he already had when he’d noticed the singed spot on the leather covering her shoulder. With a hiss, she peeled the shoulder of her unisuit down her arm to get a better look at the injury, twisting herself to see. 

At the sound of Obi-Wan’s voice, she pulled her sleeve back up quickly. “ I’m fine I don’t need your help. ” But even as she spoke, it occurred to her that it would be easier to let him see it than to try and tend it herself... With a little huff of frustration at herself, Siri relented, pulling the leather away from the wound again. “ Be quick about it, then...Anakin and Ferus will wonder where you went. ”

Dropping in on his oldest friend in one of the temple's many meditation chambers, he paused momentarily, almost jealous of Obi-Wan's seeming constant calm demeanor. He brushed this aside, however, the unwanted emotion buried for another day, left with all the other thoughts and feelings he hid away, No, his chief concern was for his former master's sake. It was barely a week since the Duchess Kryze had died at Maul's hands. Anakin could not comprehend how mad he would be driven if something were ever to happen that might take Padme away, and he had been all too aware of the feelings Obi-Wan had held for Satine.

“Obi-Wan...” he cleared his throat, glancing about the place. “Master...  If you ever need to talk... Perhaps I might understand more than you think.” He paused there in the silence, contemplating simply leaving Obi-Wan once more to his thoughts.

         “I’m fine,” Obi-Wan said immediately, sensing Anakin’s worry. He must have been tossing from the nightmare without meaning to. He was usually quieter when he was in distress. He was still disorientated and only half-awake now, but his main goal was keeping Anakin from being too concerned about him.

         “It was just a dream.”

“Obi-Wan, you are a terrible liar. Have I ever told you that?”

Anakin frowned, brows drawn together in obvious concern.

“Now I on the other hand am a wonderful liar. You can’t tell when I’m lying, if I’m even lying at all.” He grinned, trying to mask some of his worry and draw Obi-Wan out of his current wary state.
