“Your weakness is easy to spot.” Shouto began as he stole the seat across from his decided partner in their upcoming battle against other students. “One of the reasons they assigned us as partners is because of the challenge we represent to each other.”

Shouto had much better control over the right side of his body. Using this side meant his partner would be negatively affected. That meant Shouto would either have to risk using his left side so they could keep a close proximity or that she’d have to stay as far away from Shouto as possible so he wouldn’t risk accidentally freezing her. Their respective quirks were what challenged them both in this exercise, especially because they had never fought side by side before.

It was supposed to mimic a real fight against a villain. Various heroes would show up. Heroes they’d never heard of or seen at work. This exercise would test their adaptability and how well they could think on the spot.

I do wonder where you are right now? It’s been a huge shock, when I heard that you’re gone all of the sudden. Because of what happened? I’m fine. It had taken a while, but I’m allowed to go back to school now. The scars still hurt sometimes, but it’s bearable. I’m trying to become a hero after all! I’ll become hurt more often in future.

A surprise gift in pretty blue wrapping paper has appeared! Inside you will find a personal first aid kit along with some soft warm gloves and hot cocoa mix! Merry Christmas from your local viper shifter!

He had to laugh as he looked inside the gift. The first aid kit would be used, and the gloves were a nice touch. But his favorite part was the cocoa. He took the mix out of the box and quickly moved towards the dorms kitchen. He’d have to send a thank you note and some of his mom’s cookies to her, but for now he was going to enjoy his cocoa!
