Would you consider adding a “good news” tag to your blog? I’m finding looking at the world really depressing recently and it would be nice to have somewhere I could look to see that the world isn’t entirely awful and there’s still at least some good in it.

I do have a ‘Good News’ tag, but I’ll try to add more stories to that hashtag in the future.

Race tries to rickroll Spot, but Spot isn’t nearly as up on his memes as Race is, so he takes it completely literally. He then spends a week agonizing over what it means that Race just sent him a love song and what the appropriate response to that might be.

Listen Spot was super confused at first and then he was panicking and he texted Jack like “Race just sent me a song and told me he loves me what do I do” and Jack of course right away knows what happened but he thinks it’s funny so he just watched Spot freak out until he finally googled the song and realized it was just a joke.

what would they get each other for gifts?They both are pretty clever when it comes to gifts. Sometimes they will get each other things relating to work; new tools, a new invention, or even sometimes something as simple as just some really nice pens or a new journal. Other times, the will get gifts for each other that are a little more personal. Ray loves to find new spores or fungi for Egon, and will also find him smaller objects such as stress balls that help him both focus and stay calm. Egon’s gifts, while to others may seem slightly odd, mean the world to Ray. He has gotten him weighted blankets before, and once gave him a box that was filled with different letters and notes that Egon had written to Ray for when either they are separated or when Ray is upset.

what are little gestures they do for each other?Small, shared glances and smiles. The occasional note on paper, usually reading something like “The third trial of the test came back with inconclusive results last night when I checked it, which would cause for a shift in this data and for the mean average of the levels to be lower. I love you.” Also, at times subtle touches, a hand on a shoulder, standing or sitting a little closer than necessary but not to the point of discomfort.
