”No you do not and I do not know you yet.” He had been hiding in the darker places trying to blend in. “I only overheard what was said.”

He wanted to say yes. He wanted to tell her it’d pass and she’d find a way to move on. That you could find your feet under you and grow past it, but- he still felt the damn ache. He could still smell the smoke and that sick feeling in the pit of his stomach that they’d fucked up and- “Depends.” He answered, clearing his throat to hide his own moment. “Uh- on how close you were to them, how much you relied on them, how much they were a part of your life. The closer they were, the harder it is. The furthest away and it hurts but it’s easier to live through. Depends on if you feel like you had to do with their death.” White lies weren’t going to help much in this situation, but he still glazed over facts, chewing his lip as he eyed the barricaded door. “I guess you just gotta keep fighting for them, though. They wouldn’t want us to give up and just surrender. Even in the worst moments, you’ve got fight somewhere in you, it’s instinct.” Giving a faint laugh, he ducked his head. “Sorry. Didn’t mean to ramble. Yeah, kind of, and no, not at all.”

“i’m really SORRY about my dog, sometimes she’ll catch a whiff of something and it makes her anxious.” god he hoped this woman didn’t hate the police, or dogs, that’d just suck. he rubs the back of his neck, apologetic. “about the coffee spillin’ at least let me buy you a new one for the trouble.” he offers, and he hopes she takes it because he’s feeling really bad.

“Sometimes, I think I’ve become an even bigger bitch than what I was before all this mess,” Lisa admitted, “But I guess it’s to be expected in a place like this where you gotta deal with peckerwood men wanting to compare dick sizes and gun power.”

the others have gone to sleep, he ENVIES them, but he will not wake them. he seats himself before the diminishing fire, hands running over his bloodied features. it was strange to not be fighting, but he knew things would return to normal when the sun rose in the sky. after staring ahead long enough, he only now realizes that she’s been out here the entire time, he nods once in her direction. “didn’t see ya’ when i walked out.” he says, gaze lifting.
This whole mess made Lawrence uncomfortable . A werewolf , cursed just as he , was on the prowl and making a hunter’s bounty on the unlucky lovers that made the local lover’s lane their place of choice . It wasn’t him , but if the hunters of monsters ever discovered the truth of his curse before finding the true killer , they would point fingers at him . A wolf was a wolf . A man may be pure of heart and say his nightly prayers , but he may still become a monstrous thing when the moon was full .
Turning from the sight of blood still stained upon the road , Lawrence felt as if he wished to lurch up the contents of his early breakfast . Death and blood had been a great discomfort regardless if he had ripped apart so many in his first unbridled transformation in the academic halls in London .
“ It could have been a bear . Bears live in this area , don’t they ? I’m not too keen on America’s geography in relation to bears , but aren’t they far reaching ? ”

The Sanctuary had fallen. Negan was now the leader of shit. A few of his men remained, gathered around the camp they now called home. Their grumpy leader was next to the fire, focusing on coming up with a new plan. What a horrible joke. Without people, there was no future for the saviors.
“You doin’ alright?” he asked, not looking away from the flames.
