I love Paul Greene and I don't mind if he stays but I'm beyond sick and tired of this show just tossing characters aside and never mentioning them again. Especially when they were developing story lines for them only to NEVER finish them. I'm tired of it.
Same. It’s frustrating and it doesn’t have to happen. It’s really unfortunate. This show has the potential to be really wonderful (and I feel like I’ve been saying that for so long) but it’s things like this that are making people upset and it’s valid. I’m still annoyed that they dropped Mary and DeWitt. At least they got a wedding but where did they go? Where did Cat go? Where did all of these people go? It’s pointless to get invested in anything anymore because you never know if they’ll be asked back.
Look at all the time they spent on Frank’s redemption arc and his relationship with Abigail, for example. That’s all worthless now. It’s time wasted for the show and for the viewers. You could argue that it was a good story while it lasted but now there’s no pay off for any of it so who cares?
