Little Red - A Sterek AU
It was late at night when Jacob was driving home, having an extra long shift at work. He had to get home to his wife, so he took the shortcut near the forest. He was driving along, until his headlights caught a small figure in red near the road.
He stopped and got out, and spotted a little boy in a red hoodie. The boy was maybe seven, with spiky hazel hair hidden beneath his hood. He was crying, big tears rolling down his rosy red cheeks and clouding his bright amber eyes. "Pwease, pwease help..." He begged with a sob, his arms hugging his middle tightly. "What's wrong?" Jacob asked, stepping forward. "My puppy! He got lost, and he got hit by a car!" He wailed, before turning and racing down the hill towards the forest. Jacob shouted for him to wait, but he was disappearing into the tree line, and he couldn't just let the kid walk around at night.
He vowed he would call the cops after he got the kid and his puppy back to the car. Jacob trailed down into the area where the kid disappeared, shouting for him. "Hey kid! Where'd you go?" He called, heading into the dark forest.. The trees let in barely any light, where the moon broke through the trees, there was the boy. His head was bowed, hands in the front pocket of his hoodie.
"W-Where's your puppy?" He asked as he paused a few feet in front of the boy, a feeling of unease washing over him. The boy looked up at him, a small smile on his face. "Behind you.." He said innocently, and Jacob slowly turned to find a large hairy wall inches before him. Beady red eyes staring through his soul, making his heart stop as he scrambled back. It let out a low snarl, baring its yellow teeth. "What's wrong? Don't you wanna play with Derek?" The boy giggled, and the beast descended upon Jacob, ripping his throat out before he could scream.
Poor Jacob didn't know the tale of woe; of the horror story told in Beacon Hills, Little Red is the boy with the wolf that kills.... (Love to hear feedback on this, cause I write a lot but never post :/ )
