Tessa knew all too well which song he was referring to. The brunette had made sure to collect the finest of music over the years in the mere hope that one day she may share it with Jem. Simon and Garfunkel was undoubtedly among the better performers throughout history. A mere nod was her response to his attempt to make her laugh though, considering the heavy nature of their conversation. 

“I know I am, but even the luckiest people can’t be spared the suffering of losing those they love,” she answered softly, her voice growing more silent with each word. His statement confused her though and she tilted her head slightly, looking at him curiously. “DTR?”
