THE WATERFRONT Normandy [On A Beach] / When The Wind Blows. 2018 UK limited edition 12" vinyl single released exclusively for Record Store Day. The Waterfront were a short-lived Manchester supergroup from the early 80's consisting of three original members of The Stone Roses: Andy Couzens, Gary Mounfield & John Squire along with drummer Chris Goodwin [The High] and David ' Kaiser' Carty on vocals. Despite never playing a gig, the group recorded two tracks in a small studio in 1983. With only a handful of cassette tapes having been made available, these rare recordings are now available here on vinyl for the FIRST TIME. The vinyl is in BRAND NEW condition and comes with the green-tinted picture sleeve within a polythene bag. Melissa Benoist Joins the Cast of “The Waterfront”

In addition to Holt McCallany, Maria Bello, and Jake Weary, Melissa Benoist has officially joined the cast of Netflix’s “The Waterfront.” According to Deadline, Benoist will portray Bree Buckley, a woman struggling to rebuild her life after alcohol derailed her future—just like her father.

The star-studded cast also includes Dave Annable as Wes Larsen, a developer whose interest in Mae Buckley goes beyond business, and Topher Grace as Grady, a man eager to strike a deal with the Buckleys. The series is created by Kevin Williamson, known for co-creating “Dawson’s Creek” and “The Vampire Diaries.” Ben Fast of Outerbanks Entertainment serves as an executive producer, while Marcos Siega directs the first two episodes.

The casting department currently features Kimberly Wistedt as the local casting director.

Melissa Benoist, 9-1-1: Lone Star’s Rafael L. Silva and More Join Kevin Williamson’s The Waterfront

Melissa Benoist (Supergirl, The Girls on the Bus, Glee) has joined the cast of Kevin Williamson’s upcoming family drama, Netflix announced Wednesday.

Inspired by true events, the series “dives into the flawed Buckley family as their attempts to retain control of their crumbling North Carolina fishing empire drive them to increasingly dangerous means to keep themselves afloat,” reads the official logline.

Holt McCallany (Mindhunter) will play patriarch Harlan Buckley. Maria Bello (ER) will play his wife, Mae Buckley. And Benoist will play Bree Buckley, their daughter who used to be in charge of the fishery’s finances but who has had her life ruined by alcohol abuse. Now sober, she’s working on her relationship with her son, of whom she no longer has custody.
