Hearing your father followed by your brother who was against the idea only to get shut as your father already decided, you just hope that if your teaching one of them they’ll be a fast learner.
It's not that you're against it like your brother, but you'd rather go and play with your friends than teach this outsider. As for your sister Tsireya, knowing her nature, she immediately went in front, volunteering to show the village.
"M/N, come help me with this." and of course she called you on this one.
She didn’t need to finish her words when you went up front to help this Na’vi girl, who was struggling.
"Hi, I’m M/N; what’s your name?" You inquire, taking the items from her grasp.
"Am Sully Tuktirey," Tuk said quietly, glancing at her brothers, who gestured for her not to be shy.
"That’s a pretty name. Nice to meet you, Tuki."
"Tuki?" Tuk giggled, asking why you nicknamed her that.
"It suits you; come on, me and my sister will show you your new home. I hope you like it here."
While Tuk followed you from behind, already comfortable, and made up some conversation while you were replying, this wasn’t unnoticed by both the leader and the previous one.
"You should learn from M/N," Neteyam joked to Lo'ak, who rolled his eyes.
"I can do that with my eyes closed." Lo’ak mocked moving away from Neteyam, following Tsireya from behind.
Going back to you and Tuk, the topic eventually went to learning about one another from your mother's way of greeting them.
"My mother doesn’t really like outsiders; she’s very protective." You mentioned how the previous guest was and how things didn't go well, in contrast to Sully's family.

You heard of him before—the chosen one, they said, the one who led the clan to victory against the sky people. And you think it's awesome and cool, but not all that cool, because you heard from a friend that he was once from the sky.
You thought they were just making it up, but when you heard it from him, in the end you just agreed.
"Then we're lucky, and I think she's a nice lady," Tuk giggled in response.
You returned the smile, pleased with the response, and as you neared Tuk's new home, you looked back, watching Tuk pause from her walk and her giggling at the Ilu, amazed by the new creature.
"That is Ilu. You will learn soon how to mount one." You commented on gently moving the basket away from the Ilu, who was reaching for the food in Tuk’s hand.

While you two proceeded with the journey to their new home, Tuk continued jumping on the pathway, and you couldn’t help but join her and laugh as you two almost fell down.
You then averted your gaze at your friend, who called you from behind.
"Hey M/N! don’t forget later."
"Sure!" you replied.
"Later?" Tuk wonders what you will do.
"Oh! You should come; we will be playing race crab, where we find crabs and make them race at each other; whoever loses will follow the winner’s order!" You excitedly said
"That sounds fun! Sure!"
As Tsiyera and you showed them their new home, setting down their stuff on the ground, you excuse yourself, as your friends are now calling for you.
"Come on, Tuki!" You invited her by gesturing for her to follow you, and as you sprint to where your friends are, Tuk glances at her parents.
"Dad, mom? Can I?"
"Sure, go have some fun. just don’t go too far." Jake said, helping his mate to settle the place.
As Tuk runs to where you went, Neytiri sighs at the sight of her daughter.
"What?"
"Nothing, just tired."
"Go get some rest."
At the end of the week, after playing and showing Tuk all the games at the Metkayina, you and Tuk eventually become friends. to the point that you always come to visit and fetch her at her house, or the other way around.
Like an alternate to each other.
"Why are you always winning? Are you cheating?"
"Maybe she is a cheater!"
"I keep telling you guys! am not!" Tuk defended herself, angry at these two Na’vi.
Kiri, hearing a familiar voice, can’t help but peek behind this big rock, wanting to see what's going on.
She was just walking around and exploring this new place when she heard that voice, and there in front of her was her sister Tuk, who was about to cry because she was being bullied by these two Metkayina kids, a friend of M/N.
If Kiri is correct, the boy's name was F/N, and the other girl's name was Jeo, who always stuck beside M/N.
Who accuses her sister that she was cheating but in reality, Tuk is just good at the crab race, Kiri was confuse as to where M/N is and when she was about to walk in and scold this two Na’vi.
"She isn't; you're just bad at this game, Jeo."
"M/N!" Tuk exclaimed happy that you arrive and where now glaring at your friend.
"Why do you always defend her? Look at her; she's different than we are. and yeah? How do you prove it?"
You scoffed when you heard her. "I don’t need to prove anything; I’m just saying that you always act like this when you don’t get what you want." You sneered, shaking your head.
"And why wouldn't I? your bullying her which is not right, I can tell this to dad. and you don't want that to happen. would you?" You smirk, scaring her.
As to who Jeo is, let's just say she's a girl who likes you too much, and it's suffocating. and it's time to put her in her place.
"Whatever, I'm out of here!"
After your two friends—or are they even one? You walk toward Tuk, apologizing for your friend's behavior.
"They’re like this because I’m the son of the chief. They think they can do what they want because of my status… but you didn't see me as that."
"Wait, do you?" You asks.
Tuk just laughed, and you can't help but scratch your nape, embarrassed for saying something stupid. "F—forget about that," you coughed.
Kiri, seeing that everything was fine, moved away, giving her sister and you some time with each other. What's more, she mentally thanked you for saving her sister.
"Don’t worry, M/N, I see you as you." Tuk smiled once she said this.
You can’t help but feel your face burning up; you still don’t know why your temperature is rising at that moment. You just smiled, thinking it was just the sun.
"Thank you, Tuki; I also see you. Let’s go, it’s breathing lesson time." You then gently held your hand for her to grab, and as she did, you led her where your brother and sister were.
Eventually, you understand what you felt at that moment. After the sully has been here for a month, your temperature has begun to rise whenever she appears.
Always happy when teaching her or playing some games. You thought teaching the outsider would be boring, but it’s the opposite.
Right now as you thought this. You and Tuk were playing the race crab again which it become Tuk favorite.
"Is there a secret that you're hiding? Why do you always win?" You chuckled as you asked Tuk, who giggled in response.
She huffed in pride as she said, "I’m just good at this!"
"You are." You chuckled playfully, rolling your eyes. and as the minutes pass, you inhale and exhale, calming your beating heart.
"Hey Tuki"
"Hmm?" Tuk-hum's gaze is still fixed on the crab.
You took a deep breath, scratching your nape, and then asked, "Would you mind if I walked you until we were older?"
"Huh?" Tuk was confused as to what you meant, seeing your red face and your eyes not looking at her.
She giggled, finding it funny and cute at the same time.
"D-don’t laugh!"
"Sorry, you reminded me of Lo’ak. And sure."
"Really?"
"Hmm! But we need to ask both parents if they agree."
"Good point, then let’s go!" You gently took Tuk’s hand, sprinting to where the parents are.
Perhaps Tuk and M/N will remember this day because they not only gained a new friend but also someone who will accompany them until the end. Whatever happens, even if the pathway is full of spikes, these two still continue to walk.

Alright I'm gonna be real: I think lo'ak is really over rated. I don't think he's a bad character or anything, I just think he's over rated. I keep getting tiktoks that are like "Jake's such a bad dad, lo'ak doesn't deserve any of this 😢😢😢" and you're right. But none of them do.
That's the point.
A tiktok I saw explained that sometimes parents who were in the army or experienced war, like Jake who was LITERALLY a marine, can shift back into the "protect and defend" soldier like mindset. Which is what, at least to me, seems like part of what happened.
Their whole little family was so happy and close before humans came back and started causing shit again. That night at the start when there's fire everywhere and the omaticaya have to leave again is where I think Jake's switch was flipped and now he wasn't only a soldier, but he was olo'eyktan and a father. So much more emotionally was at stake now.
And lo'ak is Jake. Completley and totally no paternity test needed.
To me (as an oldest so I may be a little biased) it seems that lo'ak either doesn't understand what's really at stake fully until Payakan or he doesn't care. He loves his family that much is undisputed, but he doesn't listen. He doesn't listen to the directions that are meant to keep him and his siblings safe.
Whenever shit goes down and the siblings are involved, it's because lo'ak didn't listen and "sullys stick together."
Neteyam and Lo'ak getting to go on the mission with the train? Lo'ak disobeys Jake's orders and almost gets himself and neteyam killed.
Lo'ak, Kiri, and Tuk captured by the Marine Avatars? Lo'ak disobeying the rule of "Hey you don't go here."
Lo'ak, Kiri and Tuk getting captured again by the Marine Avatars but in the water this time? Lo'ak disobeyed the order to stay in the reef and stay safe.
I know the last one was out of good meaning because Payakan was still out there, but it still lead to the dominoes effect of the girls continually getting captured by Qurtrich and Neteyams death.
I also know he probably blames himself for Neteyam and that's not fair. It's equally not fair to shit on Jake for trying to protect the way he knew how to.
Honestly Lo'ak gives me Sasuke Uchiha vibes and I feel like everyone that I'm getting on tiktok that's like "poor sweet baby lo'ak" doesn't look at any of his behavior. "He's trying his best", so is Jake.
I don't agree with how Jake handled some things but I get that when you mind switches from "boy oh boy do I love my sweet lil family" to "oh shit oh fuck survive time" you don't always get a lot of say in how that protection comes out.
Also I'm 90% sure there's no therapy on Pandora that he's able to use to work through that mindset which can be really hard.
Anyway I can't wait for the third movie, I love Tuk and wanna see her fuck shit up.
