This evening, I asked the cards "What did I learn today?" I pulled the Siren from the Wild Unknown Archetypes. There are so many emotions in the world right now. The voices of outrage andqnger have been raised like a song and it has become almost hypnotic. I have had to walk away from the news ane updates of what is happening in my city. I no longer want to listen to this song. Instead, I'm listening to the song that my words want to tell as I write. This morning, I asked the cards "How can I deal with my anxiety?" I drew the High Priestess from The Wild Unknown Pocket Tarot. 🐅 Anxiety has been a close friend lately, so much so that I'm having trouble sleeping. It keeps me awake at night and while it does, I can't see past the cloud of worry. 🐅 The tigress sits calmly with a crystal ball nearby. This crystal holds other worlds within it and the very cosmos. She is calm and serene and looks out at the world wondering what mysteries it holds and her place within them. 🐅 I need to embrace the calmness she holds and the knowledge that she has. This evening, I asked the cards "What did I learn about myself today?" I've been trying to find balance between life and creating. My creative drive takes so much from me so that sometimes I feel as if I have nothing left to give. The drive to create took my balance from me. I've been consciously trying to find peace and balance again, giving myself time to breathe and fill the well of my spirit with water again. Sometimes, unlearning how to be constantly busy and learning to rest is hard to do, but I'm learning every day. This morning, I asked the cards "How do I celebrate my setbacks?" I drew the 3 of Wands from The Wild Unknown Tarot. ⭐ I had a few things happen yesterday and while I'm okay, I was surprised to find the emotions had carried through to this morning. The setback just left me so unsettled and a little angry. However, within those emotions, there is something to celebrate. ⭐ I didn't crumble. In the past, it would have affected my whole evening and perhaps my whole weekend. The anger would have consumed me. However, I'm okay and my world didn't end, I'm still breathing and I managed to avoid disaster, all without it pulling me into despair. ⭐ Sometimes, life just hands us trials that we have to get through. Life is in constant motion and often we are presented with choices. Today, I will celebrate what this trial has shown me and what I have learned. I will let the emotions go and sparkle on today. This morning, I asked the cards "How do I stop judging myself?" I drew The Tower from The Wild Unknown Pocket Tarot. 🌩 I an far too hard on myself. Every time I look in the mirror, I see something else about myself not to like. Those feelings have been growing stronger lately and I've been trying to listen to who's voice it is as ir no longer feels like mine. 🌩 Either way, I have to let that fall away. Whatever part of me that's been holding onto the precceived negative thoughts about myself and my body image, I have to let that fall away. This morning, I asked the cards "How can I honour my body, mind and spirit today?" I drew the 8 of Cups, the 10 of Wands and the 9 of Cups from The Wild Unknown Pocket Tarot. ⭐ Looking at these cards, they appear to be a journey. I've had to walk away from emotional situations, face obstacles and climb mountains so that I could find myself and find peace. I am struck by the darkness of the first two cards and so much colour in the third. To me, I see how I learned to turn towards the light and positivity to find peace. ⭐ Sometimes, it's all about letting go of the shadows within and embracing the brightness in the journey. My Beautiful Husband got me The Wild Unknown Pocket Tarot! I love the size of this deck and The Wild Unknown is my favourite Tarot deck as the art just sings to my Spirit. 🌟 The tin is gorgeous, the guidebook is wonderful and the quality of the cards is sublime! It also shuffles beautifully! I love the quality of this deck so much. 🌟 When I get a new deck, I always ask it what it will teach me. I drew the World. This card marks the end of a journey, but also the beginning of a new one. It is a harmonious body, mind and spirit and a very balance of the three, for one cannot thrive without the other. 🌟 What this deck will teach me is balance and completion as I move forwards on my journey. This morning, I asked the cards "How will I share my truth today?" I drew the World from The Wild Unknown Tarot. 🌟 This is the end of a journey but also the beginning of a new one. I will be speaking at work today about what it's like to live with my Cerebral Palsy and Multiple Sclerosis and what challenges I face. When I look at this card, I think back on the journey that brought me here, to this moment. 🌟 I'm reminded that every step in my journey, whether good or bad, has become part of who I am today.
