How are you guys holding up out there? As each day progresses, I think more and more about the state of the world we live in and how much people are struggling and suffering, and it hurts. I think about the elderly and immunocompromised who are struggling to get to the market to buy the essentials because they don't have anyone that can go for them. I fear that they are forced to go and risk their health or choose to stay home and go without. Some are only able to shop at a certain time one day out of the week, and by then, everything is gone. The state of greed in others hoarding supplies, vs trying to help others in their local communities is appalling. It's as simple as reaching out to your neighbors that you know are in need or checking local groups and finding out who needs help. Sometimes it can be very hard to ask for help. Sometimes all it takes is taking that first step and offering to pick up essentials, groceries, medications, etc for those that can't go out. Let's work together.
