The room was filled with long evening gowns and black suits as you entered through the doors. Out of nowhere, a tray of champagne-filled glasses was brought just a few inches closer to you.
“Thank you,” You said, taking a glass. The waiter nodded and walked in the opposite direction. Henry’s hand tightened around your body, giving you a light squeeze on the side.
“You look beautiful tonight, love,” Henry leaned down to give you a small kiss on the cheek as you took a sip of your drink.
"I heard you the first hundred times, Henry," You said. Henry started complimenting you at home when you were getting dressed. Then again when you were applying makeup and another time in the car. You turned to give him a small smile before turning your head to scan the room.
"And you need to hear the next hundred times too, darling," Henry whispered in your ear and eyed the dance floor. "Shall we dance?"
"Um," you pondered. Your eyes met with a pair of blue eyes across the room at the bar.
Sebastian gave you a small smile as he slightly lifted his drink toward you. You smiled back, your eyes scanning him from head to toe as he wore an all-black suit.
"Honey?" Henry tried to follow your gaze to see what had you frozen in place. You shifted your eyes back to him at the same time Sebastian turned around and faced away from Henry.
"How about we take a seat first. We have to excuse ourselves with Henry for arriving so late." You said.
"Let's go find a table and I'll find him." Henry held his arm out for you to intertwine your arm through his. He led you through the ballroom finding an empty table.
Two empty chairs were already reserved for the both of you by your neighbors. They waved their hands over their heads and called you over. You had met the women before at Ben's opening of the country club.
"Henry, how are you?" The men stood up, shaking Henry's hand and giving him a pat on the back.
"Mrs. Cavill." They greeted you. As much as you enjoyed being called that for the first months of your marriage, you got tired of it. You felt much a stranger now as you were when Henry first introduced them to you.
"Good evening." You gave them the warmest smile you could after taking your seat. Small talk started, Henry sat next to you, with his hand intertwined with yours, resting on the dress fabric on your thigh. You tried to keep up but you couldn't, your mind was wandering looking for Sebastian.
A smile crept on your face as you recalled the events from the day before.
Sebastian had driven you to his apartment where you both had various steamy encounters. You had completely forgotten the lunch was specifically set up to talk to him about your situation with Henry. There was something about Sebastian that made you forget everything. When you were with him it was like there was only you and him in the world.
"Love," Henry called out your name. You were brought back to reality and saw everyone looking at you with wide eyes.
"I'm sorry. What was the question?" You asked. Henry smiled, leaning over to kiss you on the cheek.
"Please excuse her, she's probably thinking of all the jetlag she'll have to endure when we go visit my parents." Henry gave your thigh a gentle squeeze with his free hand.
"Yes, I don't think I will ever get used to the time difference." You laughed along with them. Sebastian was still sitting at the bar a few tables over. He wasn't able to hear the conversation but watched Henry being affectionate with you.
Sebastian turned to the bartender and ordered another shot of tequila. You saw him take it angrily.
"If you'll excuse me, I'll go touch up my makeup in the restroom." You shot a look at Sebastian as you stood up. Sebastian set his drink down and waited until you walked out of the doors before he followed you.
The faint click of your heels echoed through the corridor. You found a small rotunda at the end of the hall, away from all the guests. Sebastian walked in, eyelids hung slightly lower than normal, with a wide grin on his face.
"You look incredible tonight." Sebastian walked towards you, making you take two steps back until you hit the wall.
"Seb-" You were interrupted by Sebastian, shushing you as he got closer to your lips. You could hear the slow sound of your lips sliding against each other after every kiss.
"If you knew all the things I want to do to you right now, right here." Sebastian's hand reached for your thigh, hooking your leg around him. He lifted you up in his arms and was about to do the hook your other leg when you pushed him away.
"We're playing with fire, Sebastian. Anyone could walk in and see us."
"You should be used to playing with fire. You’ve been doing that for a while now.” Sebastian was clearly bothered. You crossed your arms and rolled your eyes.
"I saw you at the bar looking pissed off. What’s going on?"
"Jealousy, darling. I am jealous he gets to have his hands all over you in front of everyone and I have to pretend I didn't have you gripping my bed sheets last night." Sebastian clarified. Your breath got caught in your throat.
"You've clearly had way too many drinks. Henry is my husband and you know we can't be seen together," you whispered. "Maybe you should go home."
"No," Sebastian clenched his jaw. He turned around as if he were to walk away but came back to you. "I am staying to keeping my eye on him."
"Seb, please." You begged him.
Sebastian walked out without saying a word. You followed behind, your heels limiting your speed as Sebastian stormed back into the ballroom.
With a forced smile on your face, you walked back to the table and found Henry sitting alone with a small boy.
"Hi," You looked down at the child taking your seat.
"Richard, this is my wife. My love, this is Richard. His father is one of our dearest clients." Henry introduced you.
You knelt down to be at eye-level with the boy.
"Nice to meet you, Richard." You held your hand out to shake his. “How old are you?”
“I’m six.” The boy answered. A small silence followed.
The boy looked at you with glossy eyes. This didn't go unnoticed by Henry who tilted his head to the side to meet the young boy's gaze.
"She's really pretty, isn't she?" Henry said. The boy smiled and nodded.
"Why thank you. I think you're a handsome boy and must I say that is a very nice suit." You tapped the small tie around his neck. Henry patted his lap and told Richard to move out of your seat to which he rapidly complied.
"Children are forbidden to run around and play. Ricky here is bored out of his mind. " Henry playfully pouted as the boy on his lap nodded. Henry leaned in the boy’s ear and whispered something. The boy jumped off his lap and stood in front of you.
“Would you like to dance Mrs. Cavill?” He held his hand out. You loudly ‘awwed’.
“I would love to.” You took his hand and led him to the dancefloor.
The boy held on to you as he tried to mimic the other couples dancing nearby. Your heels made it nearly impossible for him to hold you properly so you bent down and picked him up and spun around with him. The young boy smiled.
A few songs had passed when you looked around and spotted Sebastian a few feet away. He swaying to the music as he had his hands on a woman's hips. Your jaw dropped.
He shot you a quick, cold glance before turning back to the woman and smiling down at her. He must have said something under his breath since she threw her head back and let out a laugh. Her hands were placed on his chest as he pulled her in closer.
You turned around, trying to hold back tears in your eyes. You took a deep breath, you couldn’t be jealous. He had his right to dance with someone tonight. he couldn’t just sit alone all night. But he could have. This wasn’t like him.
"Can I have a dance?" Henry approached you with a smile. He held his hand out for you to take it. You pulled him in for an awkward dance with the boy in your arms between you. Henry pulled a small packet of playing cards from his inside pocket and handed it to him.
“Ricky, I went to purchase this from the club shop, get some friends together and play ‘go fish’,” Henry said. Ricky took the playing cards and you set him down.
“I had fun dancing with you.” You said. Ricky muttered a small ‘me too’ before walking quickly to a few other kids, around Ricky’s age, sitting at the tables also bored out of their mind.
“Do you remember this song?” Henry took your hand and placed another on your waist. You looked over at the live band that started playing a different melody.
“Which song-Oh. It’s Sinatra.” You recognized the song.
“The song we choose for our first dance.” His words brought back a wave of memories as he held you the same way nearly a year ago.
Your big, white dress was a bit uncomfortable and your heels hurt at that point in the night that you wanted to cry. But Henry holding you, looking into your eyes made the pain go away.
“Did you ask them to play it?” You said. Henry looked away, trying not to look guilty. You playfully glared at him. Henry let out a small chuckle before he cleared his throat and changed his tone to a more serious one.
“I feel like we have distanced ourselves from each other these past few months,” You looked down and away from him. Henry placed a finger under your chin and tilted your face up to look at him. “Hey, no. Don’t feel sad, please. It’s the last thing I want you to be.”
Over Henry’s shoulder, you saw Sebastian and his friend behind Henry about a foot away.
“I want to talk about our upcoming trip to England. I booked the tickets last night-” Henry said, Sebastian nearly froze in place.
“Henry, I really don’t want to talk about it now.” You interrupted him before he would say anything more. Henry shook his head.
“No, what I am about to tell you is important. I want this to be a fresh start for us, as I mentioned the other night we were in bed together, because,”
Please stop. You thought and closed your eyes for a brief moment in defeat. Although Sebastian was looking away, his clenched jaw let you know he overheard the last part.
“... I want us to be parents. I came back from the shop and saw you dancing with Ricky. I couldn’t help but imagine you dancing with our son.” Henry’s eyes scanned your face for your reaction.
“Parents?” You said almost inaudibly. Henry nodded.
“We can get started with the baby making after our trip. Or during our trip. Maybe even tonight-”
“Henry!” You looked around, embarrassed, to see if anyone else was hearing Henry’s proposal. No one overheard, except Sebastian.
“I’m sorry. I’m getting too excited over you with a swollen belly. What do you say?” Henry waited anxiously for your answer. You looked over Henry’s shoulder and saw Sebastian waiting for it too.
“I-I,” You struggled to say something, anything, but you couldn’t. Henry pulled you in for a kiss, his lips slowly and passionately moving against yours.
You pulled away and saw Sebastian’s face bright red as he broke unexpectedly from his dance partner and stormed off. You wanted to run after him, but you couldn’t. Not when Henry was holding you so tightly against him.
At that moment, the unbreakable grip Henry had on you symbolized much more than you realized.

You sat with Sebastian at a table nearby and began to talk about what he loved the most. Cars.
“So between the Lamborghini Huracan and the Ferrari 458 Italia, you would choose the Huracan?” You raised your eyebrow at him in surprise. Personally, you would have preferred the Ferrari, after all, it was the one Henry bought for you as a wedding gift.
“The Huracan is an all-wheel drive. It’s safer and locks in all four wheels on the road when you want to test out its speed.” He took a sip of red wine and set the glass back on the table. He rested his back against the seat rest and brought his ankle to his thigh, making a figure ‘4′ with his legs. “The 458 is still a great car, I’ve seen yours and it’s very nice. I worked on it myself, those rose-gold rims go well with the white car.”
“So that’s why you’re talking to me,” You giggled. Sebastian gave you a confused look before you added, “You’re trying to sell me new rims.”
“Ah, you caught me.” He threw his head back in defeat and brought his fist down to his knee. “But seriously,” he chuckled. “If you ever need a quick oil change or new rims, anything. You can always call me.” He reached into the pocket of his jeans and pulled out a business card from his wallet.
“Thank you.” You took the card from his fingers and eyed the phone number and address of the shop. You were sure to get this information from Henry but it didn’t hurt to save it for yourself in case of an emergency.
Sebastian couldn’t take his eyes off of you as you were trying to tuck away the card in your purse. Your laugh was the most pleasant sound he had heard all evening. He loved the way your lips formed into the sweetest smile and the sight of your eyes and the little sparkle in them when you looked at him.
You brought your left hand to fix the hair that had been tousled by the harsh Hamptons breeze and the ring on your fourth finger glimmered in the sunlight. Sebastian’s thoughts vanished as he reminded himself that you were a married woman, he lifted the beer from the table and gulped it down empty before he continued the conversation.
“So,” He sighed, your eyes shifted to his once again. “How’s marriage treating you?”
“It has treated me well.” You responded a bit surprised Sebastian would have been asking a question about your marriage. “Are you married?”
"No, and I don’t plan to be. Marriage isn’t for me” He chuckled darkly. You wanted to ask why he thought that way but you felt the answer was going to be too personal. “I’m going to get another beer.”
Sebastian excused himself and stood from the table leaving you alone. You wished you should have kept your mouth shut. He seemed like a nice guy and you wondered if there were some of Ben’s female friends you could hook him up with. Maybe all he needed was someone to take care of him.
The sun had begun to set and the guests started to leave one by one. The waiters had already begun cleaning the tables and folding them up to take back inside. Sebastian stuck by your side all evening keeping you company, insisting he stay with you until Henry returned, yet he never did.
“Sebastian, you can go, really. I don’t want to ruin any plans you have after this.” You insisted as the night began to settle in. Sebastian shook his head.
“I can’t leave you alone, besides I have no plans. This is the only reason I got out of bed this morning,” He chuckled.
“Well, I really appreciate it.” You smiled, you still looked around the room, hoping to spot Henry and head home. You weren’t the kind of person to attend these events even if you felt welcome. You wanted to go home and get a good night’s rest.
“Unless you’re trying to get rid of me.” Sebastian came to the realization that you were trying to make him go home, but he was wrong. You loved being in his company. You felt like you had gained a new friend.
“Of course not.” You shook your head with a horrified expression. “Never, I really enjoyed this. I’m glad we finally met after all these months.” You spoke.
Finally, you saw Henry walk out of the club and walk across the almost now empty tent.
“There he is.” Sebastian sighed as you stood up and met Henry with a kiss once he had arrived at your table. Sebastian followed your body movements and stood up.
“Sebastian, nice to see you.” Henry shook Sebastian’s hand as he placed his other hand on your waist.
“Nice to see you too, it’s been a while since you’ve been at the shop. When are you stopping by?” Sebastian asked. Henry’s body stiffened as you remembered Henry had mentioned he had taken his car to Sebastian’s shop a few days ago.
Henry held you tight against his body, preventing you from seeing the uneasy expression on his face. Sebastian noticed the tense and awkward pause and quickly changed the subject before Henry could come up with an answer.
“I finally met the Mrs.” Sebastian looked over at you.
“Great, I hope she didn’t bore you with any of her talks about that make-up convention she went to in L.A. and New York Fashion Week stories.” Henry gave you a light squeeze. Was that what Henry really thought of you?
“Oh, she definitely bored me. She started talking about cars. Oh, the pain I had to endure talking to someone about cars. Can you imagine? How boring.” Sebastian’s voice was filled with sarcasm. A wide smile formed on your lips.
“I don’t know about Henry but I might stop by soon, I need an oil change. Maybe check the engine and look at some new rims.” You reminded Sebastian of the earlier conversation and he chuckled. You turned to a confused Henry. “You can’t take my car to the shop all the time. Let me take it for once.”
“Alright.” Henry sighed. “I just get worried you taking it by yourself, any mishap the car might have while you’re alone.” Henry trailed off. Sebastian gave him a judging look, taking advantage that Henry couldn’t see his face, but you did.
“I’m sure she can take care of herself. She’s a strong woman.” Sebastian directed his attention to you. “I’m just a phone call away, free towing if needed.”
“Thank you.” You were really impressed with Sebastian’s dedication to you tonight even sticking up to your own husband.
“We should get going.” Henry turned to shake Sebastian’s hand one last time.
“Glad I finally had the pleasure of meeting you.” Sebastian shook your hand.
“The feeling is mutual.” You smiled. “See you soon, Sebastian.”
He didn’t know why his name escaping your soft, delicious lips caused his heart to skip a beat. He watched as you made your way around the building and headed towards the valet podium by the entrance.
“You know it’s just an oil change.” You turned around to make sure you were out of Sebastian's sight. “I’m not taking an old crappy car that stops every two blocks.”
“Honey, I know. It’s just that Sebastian’s shop is on the bad side of town, I really don’t want you taking the Ferrari by yourself.”
“I’m taking it anyways.” You shrugged it off still bothered. The valet assistant took the keys and was about to retrieve the car when Henry told him he would get the car himself, he grabbed your hand and pulled you off the sidewalk.
“Henry,” you heard a woman call out. You turned around to see the woman who was staring at you at the beginning of the event. Henry tugged on your arm and gave you the keys.
“Get in the car,” he ordered you.
“Who is she?” You asked. Henry walked you to the car and opened the passenger’s door for you. You refused to get in the car, turning around to face him. “Who is she?” You repeated.
Henry mumbled something about the office before grabbing you and physically making you sit inside the car. He slammed the car door shut. You tried to open the door again but his body rested against the door.
“Henry!” You hit the glass window. His body shielding you from the woman. You tried to listen to the conversation they were having but nothing made sense since they both spoke at the same time, trying to drown the other’s voice.
Henry screamed something back before running to the other side of the car and getting in the car, driving off. The rest of the ride home was in silence Henry tried to explain what had happened but you shook your head and told him he didn’t need to explain anything. He thought it was because you had bought the idea of her being a crazed woman who worked for him and demanded a raise after she had been denied one.

You pulled out the bar stool from under the counter as your friends sat down on each of your sides. Your friend Emilia asked the bartender for three beers before turning to you and your other friend Monica.
You and Monica were distracted by the girl singing on stage who could barely keep her balance.
“Someone had too much to drink,” Monica muttered as the girl began slur the rest of the lyrics of the song.
“Do you think if I get just as hammered as her tonight, I’ll be able to go up on stage,” Emilia wondered. “I’ve always wanted to sing karaoke but I get stage fright.”
“Woah, I only agreed to have a drink with you girls here, not get drunk. I have to be up early tomorrow.” You shook your head. You cringed when you heard the girl’s microphone gave a high-pitched feedback.
“Oh, that’s right, Sebastian’s wedding is tomorrow. Thank him on our behalf for inviting us.” Monica, your other friend rolled her eyes as she took a sip of beer.
“Seb would have loved to have you there.” You explained. “Unfortunately, the venue has a guest limit and his fiancée has a lot of family and friends coming in from out of state.”
Of course, Sebastian’s guest headcount was no were near the limit. But that was the answer he gave you when you asked why he hadn’t invited your friends. Sebastian had known you since high school and you two have been best friends since. Years later, your college roommates Emilia and Monica joined the group. Everything was perfect at first but Sebastian began to pull away and spend less time with them when he met his fiancée. Of course, nothing had changed with you, but your friends were taking it to heart. You couldn’t blame them.
“Face it. His fiancée is a higher social class than us. Sebastian doesn’t want people like us around. Fuck that bitch,” Emilia said, taking another sip of beer. “And fuck that other bitch too.”
Damn, if she wasn’t right. You picked up the beer bottle at the counter and took a sip.
“Are you sure you’re okay being there?” Monica asked you. You couldn’t keep a secret from your best friends, and it was pretty obvious from the beginning that you were interested in Sebastian. But he remained oblivious to your feelings towards him. Your friendship meant a lot to both of you that you didn’t dare to ruin it.
“I’m fine.” You lied.
The past couple of months were unbearable. You were Sebastian’s best man or best woman as he put it, for the wedding. He didn’t have a close guy friend or a brother to take on the job so he chose you.
You ended up taking a lot of tasks than was intended. You helped him pick the venue, helped with choosing his tuxedo, what to write for his vows, pretty much everything since his future wife was busy traveling around Europe and getting the biggest fashion designers to make her dresses. She was wearing more than one dress on her big day.
You had a gut feeling she didn’t like you. Although Sebastian denied it, you had overheard a discussion they had over the phone. She was upset that you had done the work for her. Sebastian suggested they postpone the wedding for her to have time to chose every detail, which led to a loud voice from the other side of the phone call and a few mentions of your name.
“Your next drink is on me.” Emilia turned to you. “You deserve it after working so hard, come on. The wedding ends tomorrow, all the troubles will go away. Sebastian will be married-” She stopped mid-sentence. You didn’t want a painful reminder that he’d be someone else’s forever.
“I’m only having one drink.” You shook your head. “I can’t show up to the ceremony with a hangover.”
“Come on, I’ll get my boyfriend to pick us up, you don’t have to worry about being the designated driver anymore,” Monica suggested. “We’re not leaving until Emilia sings, anyways.”
“Oh, please,” Emilia begged. “Sebastian has kept you all to himself for too long. It’s only fair you spend time with us now. I haven’t had fun with you in a while.”
“Alright,” you gave in.
Your side of the counter slowly began to fill up with empty glasses throughout the night. Emilia finally had the guts to go on stage and sing her song. She had finished the first verse when Monica tapped your shoulder.
“I think I’m going to ask that guy out,” She pointed to a man leaning against the wall. He nodded in her direction and winked at her. “He’s been staring at me all night.”
Your jaw dropped. Monica was definitely not the kind of girl who took the first step, especially since she only had one serious boyfriend in her life.
“Well, go get his number.” You patted her back as she walked over to the man.
The last few shots of tequila seemed to help both your friends in being confident. You sighed and thought about doing something you knew your sober self would have never thought of doing. Tonight might be the last chance you would be able to do it.
You picked up the phone and searched through your recent calls. You didn’t have to look far to find his number.
Hey, this is Sebastian, Please leave a message.
“Hi,” you sighed. “I-It’s me. I know it’s late and you’re probably getting ready for tomorrow. I just wanted to say-” You paused. “I love you and I-I just wish I was her.” A knot formed in your throat and your eyes began to water. “It kills me to see you with someone else. I know this is selfish and I shouldn’t be saying this. I can’t go to your wedding, it’s better that I back off and no longer be a part of your life. I’m sorry. I wish you the best. Goodbye, Sebastian.” You hung up.
The bartender came over and gave you another drink.
“This is from the guys at that table.” He pointed to the table behind you and the three guys waved at you. If you were sober you would have thought it was creepy, grabbed your purse and headed out. But there was a good enough amount of alcohol was in your system to just smile and hold up your drink.
You wanted to get away from everything, even your thoughts. The man in the leather jacket from the table took the seat at the bar next to you and started to pick up a conversation. He was a single father out with the boys from work just wanting to have a good time. He started to ask where you worked, what kind of hobbies you liked and if you were taken by anyone.
You shook your head and he ordered you another drink. Turns out he had recently moved into town and was looking for friends, besides his co-workers, to hang out with. You nodded, wanting to be nothing but friendly towards him.
You realized you had nearly doubled the amount drinks you had earlier tonight. Looking at the empty glasses in front of you. You had lost track of time. You began to feel lightheaded. Your vision doubled and you pinched your eyes shut to stop your head from spinning.
“Are you okay, baby?” He asked, pressing his hand against your lower back and started sliding further down. “Need another drink?” He slid a drink across the table from you.
“Don’t touch me.” You shoved his hand away from your ass. You got up, trying to see where Monica and Emilia were at.
You saw a man walking towards you at the bar. You realized it was Sebastian who glared in your direction. Only you realized his glare wasn’t at you, it was for the man sitting next to you.
“Oh, shit.” You muttered to yourself as Sebastian grabbed a fistful of the man’s leather jacket, spun him around and pushed him against the counter.
“Get the hell away from her.” He growled, his free hand turning into a fist between both men’s faces before quickly letting go of him. He turned to look at you, grabbed your wrist and started to pull you away from the bar. “I’m taking you home.”
You managed to grab your purse before the other two men, who had accompanied the man whose name you couldn’t remember, got up and walked towards Sebastian.
“I need to find Emilia and Monica.” You said.
“I called their boyfriends. They took Emilia’s car and left while I was looking around the bar for you.” He said.
One of the men had muttered something unintelligible, Sebastian briefly let go of you and began to swing. Sebastian had punched one of them down on the floor and the other a harsh push. That was until he took a blow. He stumbled back and you held on to him, not wanting him to fall.
“Seb, let’s go.” You beg, pulling on his arm. But he didn’t listen. All he saw was red, he didn’t want anyone offending you, let alone touching you inappropriately without your consent. He tried to get away from your grip but you held on tighter. “Seb!” You said louder. He turned around and saw you, his face expression softening.
Sebastian grabbed your waist and let you lead the way out as other people started taking a swing at the guys causing chaos. He walked you over to his car and opened the passenger seat. He sped down the city street.
“How did you know where I was?” You asked.
“I saw a picture of you three on Emilia’s Instagram post, she added the bar’s location,” Sebastian responded coldly.
The rest of the ride home was silent, most of your attention shifted on not throwing up in Sebastian’s nice car after you felt your stomach turn when he turned right at an intersection.
You arrived at your house, you jumped out of the car and opened the front door. You had expected Sebastian to stay in the car but he had already followed you inside. You threw the house keys on the dining room table and rushed to the bathroom to empty out your stomach.
Sebastian rushed in the bathroom to find you bending over the toilet seat. To anyone else he would have gagged and left the room but to his best friend, he stayed and held your hair back. Your chest began to hurt as you gave your last hurl.
“You’re going to feel much better after this.” Sebastian rubbed his hand against your back. Sebastian chuckled, recalling your 21st birthday ending with something similar like this, “You’ve never been able to handle your drinks, I’m not always going to be here when you’re drunk.”
Sebastian’s face expression changed when he said the last sentence. He remembered the real reason he went to pick you up at the bar.
He was getting all the last minute details of the wedding set up when he realized he had a missed call from you and a voicemail. He could feel his heart breaking when you said you didn’t want to attend your best friend’s wedding. He dropped everything he was doing and grabbed his car keys wanting an explanation.
You reached open the medicine cabinet and grabbed your toothbrush and paste. Sebastian took a step back.
“I’ll wait for you in the living room.” He muttered before leaving you to clean up.
You had taken about 6 cups of mouthwash and splashed your face with cold water, you walked out to the living room feeling more refreshed.
You found Sebastian sitting on the couch. His lips formed a thin line, he looked at you and slowly lowered his gaze to the floor. You were about to ask if he was okay when he decided to speak.
“Why the hell do you think it’s better for you to be out of my life?” He snapped.
You groaned as you remembered the stupid voicemail you felt you dreamed you sent him, only now you realize it was not a dream.
“What about what I think, huh?” He raised his voice slightly and stood up from the couch. “Did you just expect me to be okay with you cutting me off all of a sudden?”
“Sebastian, calm down.” You pleaded, taking a step back when he got too close to you. You had never seen Sebastian this mad and you had seen him lose his temper a few times. That only seemed to make him even angrier, his chest rose and sunk rapidly as he ran his fingers through his hair. “Are you mad because I don’t want to be friends anymore or because I told you how I felt?”
“You don’t feel that way. You were drunk, you didn’t know what you were saying. I better see your ass at the ceremony.” Sebastian shook his head and stormed past you, ready to leave the house.
“You can’t make me go!” You managed to say before he grabbed the door handle. “And I meant what I said.” You added in a lower tone.
Sebastian stopped in his tracks. His hand was still on the doorknob, his shoulders slumped before he turned around and faced you with bloodshot eyes.
“You only said it now because you know I wouldn’t be able to do anything about it.” He started to take slow steps towards you.
“You were never going to do anything about it.” You stood in the middle of the room and crossed your arms. “But like you said, I was drunk. I shouldn’t have said anything. I’m sorry.”
Sebastian now stood a few inches away from you, your bodies close enough to feel each other’s body heat but not touch. He clenched his jaw and leaned in to press his lips against yours.
You were shocked, your body stiffened as he wrapped his arms around you. You hummed his name against his lips but he didn’t bother pulling away from the kiss. He began to move his lips against yours and you got a small hint of alcohol from his mouth. You pushed him away.
“Did you drink?” You asked, trying to make eye contact with him. You knew he wouldn’t be able to lie to you if you did.
“Just a few beers.” He shushed you and pulled you in to continue the kiss. Your hands went back to his chest and pushed him away again.
“Stop kissing me. You’re getting married tomorrow.” You broke away from his grasp.
“That’s why I’m kissing you.” He responded. “It’s hard enough to go through wedding preparations having doubts in my mind and now that you told me this-”
“You have doubts?” You interrupted.
“The only thing I don’t have a doubt about is you and how much I want you right now.” He begged. “Let me kiss you, even if it’s just for tonight that’s all I ask.” You slightly nodded, and that was all it took for him to take you in his arms and kiss you passionately.
You let your lips move against his. His strong arms were wrapped tightly around your waist as he held you against him. Your arms wrapped around his neck. He bit your lower lip, and lightly tugged on it. His hands roamed your lower body as he pulled you up to his arms and made you wrap your legs around his waist. He began walking towards your bedroom.
“You said you only wanted to kiss me tonight.” You recalled as his mouth moved from yours to your jaw.
“I know, but I didn’t really promise nothing would happen after.” Sebastian pushed the bedroom door open and brought you down to the bed. He straddled your hips, both knees on either side. You lay there surrounded by pillows, admiring him and his body as he took his shirt off. His hands reached the hem of your shirt and his eyes scanned your face. “Are you okay with this?”
“I’m alright.” You approved, sitting up. He pulled the shirt over your shoulders and threw it on the floor.
You leaned in towards Sebastian for a kiss before quickly undressing each other. Sebastian fumbled with your bra as you undid his belt. Within a matter of moments, you were both completely naked. Sebastian settled between your legs as his eyes scanned your bare body.
“You’re beautiful. Oh, so beautiful. Just give me a minute to look at you.” He whispered as he pushed you back against the pillows. You wanted to cover yourself up, instantly your arm moved slightly to do so, but Sebastian caught on and stopped you. His eyes took the sweet time to scan your face first. This gaze now dropped to your neck, to your chest down your stomach to the place where you felt the most heat. Sebastian licked his lips.
You made an inhumane voice when he ran his fingers up and down your already wet slit.
“Did I make you this wet?” He smiled to himself as he leaned down to press his lips against yours for a brief moment.
Before he could sit back up, you wrapped your arms around him and rested your chin on his shoulder, trying to hide the tears forming in your eyes. You had imagined a night like this since you were younger but never on these terms. This would be the only night you would spend with him as this. You wanted to scream at the universe for not choosing you to be his. But in reality, it was all your fault for never taking a leap like this before.
“Are you okay?” He asked. You wiped away the tear that managed to escape.
“Yeah, just fuck me.” You pushed all your feelings aside, if you were going to have tonight with him you weren’t going to cry about it. At least not within the next 24 hours.
“No,” Sebastian pulled away and looked at you. “I’m not going to fuck you. You deserve more than that, I’m going to make love to you.”
He grabbed the tip of his manhood and pressed it against your entrance. He gave out a slight moan when the tip entered you. He cursed under his breath because he knew nothing could prepare him for the pleasure he was about to feel.
He slowly entered you, inch by inch. You arched your back and shut your eyes. He filled you up even better than you could have imagined.
“Fuck,” Sebastian whispered once he was already buried completely inside of you. A couple of agonizing moments without moving later you broke the silence.
“Move,” You grinded your hips against his.
“I’m just trying to remember all of this.” He towered over you. “Look at me.” He whispered.
Sebastian pulled out slowly, almost completely before he pushed himself back in. Your eyes not leaving his as he continued his actions. Your small trembling moans began to sound louder the more he thrust into you.
“You’re so tight, princess. Why didn’t we do this before?” He threw his head back as your walls clenched around him.
“You didn’t feel the same way.” You dug your nails into his back. “Yes, Seb. Just like that.”
“I always felt that way about you. I didn’t feel like I deserved you.” Sebastian grunted as he picked up his pace. A bead of sweat starting to form on his forehead.
“If we weren’t doing this, I would have punched you in the face by now.” You responded. You managed to roll him over on his back, you were now on top, straddling his hips. You rose, digging your knees farther on the bed as you slid up and sat back down on his shaft.
“Keep doing that, sweetheart.” Sebastian breathed, placing his hands on your hips, guiding you down on him. You caught your breath when he reached your g-spot. “Jackpot.”
He rolled over you, pressing you back against the pillows. He hitched your leg around his waist as he repeatedly hit your g-spot.
“Sebastian, Oh-” You bit your lip. You felt the familiar fire began to form within you.
“I always thought it was you who I’d end up marrying,” Sebastian admitted. You opened your eyes to see him looking down at you. “It was hard to work the details of the wedding with you knowing you wouldn’t be the one dressed in-dressed in white” He stuttered and moaned as your walls clenched around him again, “Princess, I don’t think I can last much longer.”
“I’m coming too.” You brought your hand to your breast, tugging on a nipple and found your release.
“I love you.” He whispered. The sight of you playing with yourself and the feeling of your come around him made him reach his climax. Sebastian’s last sloppy thrusts milked out both your orgasms. He pulled out and climbed next to you, holding you in his arms as you both tried to catch your breath. “You know I planned on doing this after prom.” He said.
“How so?” You played with his hair.
“That’s the night I realized I was in love with you,” Sebastian said. “But you went off with Trevor to his after-party.”
“You kissed Elizabeth from Physics.” You responded.
“After I saw you with Trevor,” he added.
“I only went with Trevor because I saw you kiss Elizabeth.” You both burst out laughing.
“We’re a mess,” Sebastian said.
“Why didn’t the stars just align for you and I to be together?” You wondered out loud. Your eyelids began to flutter shut as Sebastian began to think.
Your head was against his chest as he figured out that the stars didn’t need to align for him to be with you. All he needed was to break off something that should have never been proposed.
every time someone mentions professor!seb i lose my shit and i remember this little fucking outfit. let me add some failing student, wanting some extra credit but the extra credit involves bending over a desk and sinking down to their knees

You looked down at your final exam which had a big fat 48 marked at the top of the first page. Your parents were going to kill you. How were you going to explain you spent an entire semester learning nothing. You had to admit most of your attention was centered around your professor than taking notes. You looked over at your professor who was sitting at his desk, thanking everyone for a great semester before they left. You were the last student in the room. You sighed, stood from your seat and walked over to his desk at the front of the room.
“Professor Stan,” You said in the sweetest voice you would make. “Could you please explain why I received this grade?”
He took your paper and leaned back in his chair. You looked down at him to see his light blue buttoned shirt nearly rip at how tight it was around his muscles. You bit your lip imagining what was beneath the fabric.
“Well, miss. You have too many missed questions on your exam. Were you absent for any classes?” He handed the papers back to you.
“No, no. I have not missed a day. I just get nervous taking exams.” You said.
“There’s not much I can do.” He shrugged. You felt your face burn with anger and tears that threatened to spill from your eyes.
“There has to be some kind of solution.?” You asked. “Some sort of extra credit? I’ll do anything.” You begged. The professor leaned back in his seat and his eyes moved from your head to toe.
“Well, there is something that could be done. And I am offering this only to you. There’s a class coming in a few minutes. Let’s go to my office and make sure no one can hear us discussing this offer.” He whispered.
Something about the tone of his voice made your lady parts tingle. You followed him out the door and down the hallway where his office was located. You stood awkwardly in the middle of the room as he locked the door.
“What’s the offer?” You asked. He sat down at his desk and signaled you to walk towards him. You took a few steps forward, your knee lightly touching his.
“Don’t think I haven’t seen you undressing me with your eyes from your seat in the classroom. That exam should have been an easy A, I think it’s time you learn the consequences of not paying attention in class.” His hands quickly undid his tie and unbuttoned his shirt. You immediately caught on.
“What are you going to do, Professor?” You asked. “Spank me?
“Oh, I’ll do more than that sweetheart. But first,” He unzipped his pants and pulled out his throbbing member. “I’ve had a stressful day.”
You sunk down to your knees, licking up his shaft before taking as much of him as you could in your mouth. You bobbed your head up and down, massaging his balls as he moaned in pleasure.
“That’s it, yeah.” He groaned. “Fuck, yes. I can tell you’ve had experience with these kinds of things.”
Your mouth reached the head and your tongue briefly swirled around the tip. You took him in again and made his tip hit the back of your throat. You had to show your professor you had zero gag reflex.
“Ah- I’m close. You’re going to swallow my load for your sweet professor?” He asked. You hummed in approval as he released everything into your mouth. You pumped him a few more times, letting his tip rest on your tongue as he spurts out the last few bits of his come.
“Does that get me an A?” You asked.
“No, but that gets you up to a C plus.” He smiled. “Get on the desk if you need a higher grade.” He ordered.
You did as you were told, immediately shoving your leggings down your legs along with your panties. You sat on the edge of the desk as the professor moved his chair closer to you. He grabbed both your ankles and placed them on the edge, spreading your legs and leaving your center a few inches away from his face.
His fingers slid down your folds and spread your outer lips. Your arms were behind you, holding you up to see what he was about to do. His fingers slid up until they met your clit, he bent down and pressed his lips to it. He took it in his mouth and inserted a finger inside of you. You moaned and leaned your head back.
“You like that?” He asked you as he added another finger, slowly pulling it out and in.
“M-m. Yes,” You agreed, closing your eyes. His tongue now joined his fingers, taking in your juices.
“You taste so good.” He murmured. His fingers sped up and he was now moving rapidly against your center. “Come for me, darling.”
He knew by the noises you made he reached your g-spot. He used it to his full advantage, and you started reached your climax. You whimpered as he pulled his fingers away, replacing them with his tongue as he milked your orgasm with his mouth. His tongue moved against your folds and moved his lips briefly to your clit as he sucked on it.
“F-Fuck me.” You whispered. He froze in place. He wasn’t planning on fucking you at all. Of course, he had dreamt about taking you on the desk various times this semester, but hearing you say it just turned him on even more.
“Turn around and bend over the desk for me.” He said. You did as you were told, pressing your hot cheek against the cool, wooden desk. You heard his belt cling once it hit the floor. You heard foil tearing apart and suddenly felt a hand slap your ass.
“Ow.” You whimpered.
“I told you there would be spanking.” He chuckled as he hit your ass one more time. “You may be complaining about it but I just saw your pussy throb.” He patted your pussy lightly as if he were spanking it. “I’ll go easy on you.”
You felt him slip his tip up and down your folds before shoving his member inside you slowly. You moaned in pleasure as you felt him fill up your walls like no other college boy could.
“Don’t go easy on me.” You said. “I want to know what it is like to not walk straight for days thanks to my Professor.”
He pulled out almost completely before slamming into you.
“You’re so fucking tight.” His thrusts became erratic as he ran your hand up your body and grabbed your breasts through the fabric.
You arched your back, taking your shirt off and fumbling with your bra clasp. His rough fingers met your bare flesh as he squeezed your breast. You moaned and brought a knee up to the desk, giving him a better access to you. His member now reaching your g-spot.
“F-Fuck, I’m close.” You moaned.
“I’m with you, baby. Come for me.” He tugged on your nipples, and you felt his other hand reach around for your clit.
You bit the inside of your mouth from screaming as you came. You felt his member twitch inside of you as he groaned, his thrusts becoming sloppier as he came down from his high.
He pulled out of you as you reached for your clothes on the desk. He grabbed the tissue box from his desk and helped wipe your legs clean from your come.
“Thank you.” You whispered as you brought his lips to yours. “Do I pass?”
“Of course,” He smiled as he buttoned his shirt. “You may continue to the advanced class. But you must promise you will pay attention next semester.”
“And if I don’t?” You asked.
“Well, I’m sure you know what will happen since I will be your professor next semester. “

You stood in the hallway, amazed at what was clearly going on in the bedroom. You shook your head before letting your imagination run loose. You couldn’t invade his privacy. You turned your heel and walked towards the door. Your mind came up with a million excuses. Maybe you could stay somewhere else. No, dumbass. You don’t have any other place. You thought.
You reached for your purse on the table and picked it up. Something must have fallen out of it and hit the glass table. You froze and the noises coming from the bedroom stopped. On instinct, you reached for the door and opened it. Sebastian’s footsteps became louder and your hand slowly pushed the door shut. It was now your time to put your acting skills to the test.
“Hey,” Sebastian exhaled under his breath. His eyes widened and you could see his belt was loosely buckled.
“Hi.” You could only glance at his eyes for a few moments without looking away.
“How long have y-you been here?” He asked.
“I just got here, I told you I was going out.” You walked behind the kitchen counter and reached for an apple.
“I know, I-” He paused. Just then, you slipped up and made eye contact with him.
His face was perfectly structured. His lips looked soft and delicate. A pure specimen. There was no way he meant you. He couldn’t have said your name. Well, maybe he did. But he meant another girl with the same name as you. How were you appealing to him?
“I’m going to bed. Have a good night.” You walked past him towards his bedroom.
You heard a soft “good night” before closing the door.
You woke up in the middle of the night after having that strange dream. You turned the bedside lamp on and sat up. Your face was hot, and your palms were sweaty. Did you really dream about him in his bed? Maybe you had that dream because you knew what he was doing in here. You told yourself to forget about the incident and go to sleep. Just like any other day.
But you couldn’t. You shut your eyes for a while but never fell asleep.
The bedroom slowly began to be illuminated by the rising sun. You still had not gotten enough sleep. You were definitely going to be in a pissy mood today.
You kicked the bed sheets off you and sat up. You began to get dressed for work that morning. You didn’t feel yourself yet. It felt like you were a robot and you were moving without your control.
You managed to put on makeup and a business suit, like the other dozen you had in the closet. You looked in the mirror and tilted your head to the side.
You were feeling a little risky. You opened the closet one more time and began to look at the more revealing clothes Sebastian had gotten you. You were too intimidated to put on those dresses. They all were skin tight, some had a deep v-neck and some barely reached your knee.
You played dress up for a couple of minutes until there was a knock on the door.
“Yes?” You asked. Immediately covering your bare top half with the dress you had just taken off.
“I made breakfast,” Sebastian said.
“I’ll be out there in a minute.” You answered. You slipped on the dress that showed off too much of your cleavage. You looked in the mirror and frowned.
That dress was clearly not suitable for work, you put back the outfit you had originally thought of wearing. A simple blue blouse with dark pants.
You walked into the dining room to find Sebastian, well suited up, sitting on the table rolling blueberries over his waffle with a fork. He looked like a child being forced to eat breakfast before heading to school.
“You made waffles?” You spoke. He looked up and gave you a small chuckle.
“Are you surprised I cook?” He asked. He shook his head and said your name.
There it was, a little flashback from the incident last night. All it took was him to say your name to remember how loudly he was moaning it out alone in his bedroom. You pulled the chair away from the table and sat down.
“A little.” Your voice broke at the last word while he passed you a plate, he locked eyes with yours and raised his right eyebrow.
“Are you alright?” He asked.
“I am.” You responded. “I just need a drink of this,” you took a sip of orange juice.
You ate for a few moments in silence.
The man at the other side of the table seemed to be avoiding any kind of eye contact with you.
“I should get a cab-”
“I can take you.” He interrupted.
“We can’t risk anyone seeing us in your car together.” You told him. He finally looked up at you and gave you a smile. “Well, I better get going. I don’t want to get in trouble with the boss.” You winked as you got up from the table. He lightly chuckled.
“Oh wait, before you go, I have something for you.” He reached into his back pants pocket and pulled out his wallet. He handed you a black card. “I’m going to be busy with late night meetings as we finalize some contracts at the office this upcoming week and I want to make sure I cover all of your expenses.”
“Sebastian,” You stared at the credit card with the word Platinum branded across it. “This looks- I can’t accept it.”
“Sure you can. It’s got a couple hundred already loaded. Think of it as an apology from last night.” He cleared his throat. You looked at him.
“Listen, I’m sorry for how I reacted-” You said.
“No, I didn’t give this to you because I wanted you to apologize. I’m the one who should apologize.” He got up from his seat and walked around the table to meet you. “In fact, I rehearsed this earlier today and I am not going to let you interrupt me.” He shut you down before you even got a word out of your mouth. You’ve only lived together for a few weeks and he already knew you so well. “I was stupid last night. I shouldn’t have overreacted. I have a history with Michael and before you ask what happened, we’ll save it for a time when I can explain everything. I just don’t want you to get hurt and with that man, you’re guaranteed to get your heart broken. I don’t want him to play you the way he’s played, other women. And,” He paused and sighed. “I care for you. A lot. You being here with me has made me really happy. Being involved at work so much I don’t have time to relax or have a good laugh with anyone, but you’ve changed all of that.”
Was your face getting red? Because you were pretty sure it was.
Sebastian wrapped his left arm around your waist as he towered over you. He pressed his right hand against your cheek.
“I like you. I really do. I’m saying this now because I want you to think of the possibility of us. If you don’t feel the same way, I’ll wait. I won’t pressure you. If you don’t feel anything, I understand. Losing you to someone else I’ll have to cope with it, but losing you to Michael will ruin me.” He pressed his forehead against yours and closed his eyes.
You could feel your heart pounding in your chest and you were pretty sure he could feel it too.
“Say something. You’re scaring me.” He whispered.
“I-I don’t know what to say.” You responded.
“You don’t have to tell me how you feel right now. I just want you to tell me when you’re one hundred percent sure that you do feel the same way or you don’t. Whether it’s next week or next month or next year, I will wait. Okay?” He leaned back and looked into your eyes.
“Okay.” You nodded.
The morning dragged through, there were little tasks to be made. After you were done with them, you played a little solitaire on your desktop. You briefly called the hospital to check in on your dad. The nurse said he had significantly improved, and they didn’t need to extract the blood from his brain. He didn’t need a surgery might even wake up one of these days, his body was just taking time, which was normal. As soon as Sebastian arrived at the office after his first meeting of the day, you followed him to his desk and told him the good news about your father which was followed by him rushing to you to hug you, which made your eyes start to water.
You made some phone calls and set meetings in the conference room. Your dad’s slow but positive reaction to the medical treatments made you feel a lot better. You were having a good day. Maybe more than a good day because Sebastian’s speech over breakfast kept replaying in your head over and over again throughout the day.
You snapped out of your little recap of the day and came back to reality. Rachel was sitting across the hall, waving her hands frantically over her head. “What has gone into you, what has you on cloud nine?” She chuckled. “I’ve been trying to get your attention for over five minutes.”
“A lot of things.” You sighed. “But what did you need help with?”
“I’m just making sure you RSVP’d for tonight.” She said.
“RSVP’d what?” You asked. Rachel’s eyes instantly widened.
“Did you not get the e-mail?” She asked. You shook your head. Just on cue Sebastian stepped out of his office and greeted us.
“Good work today, ladies. I will see you all tomorrow.”
“It’s your birthday?” You blurted out. Sebastian smiled at you shyly.
“Yes, silly. Didn’t you congratulate him?” Rachel spoke.
You got up from your desk and hugged him. “Why didn’t you tell me today was your birthday?” You whispered in his ear.
“Honestly, I forgot about it.” He responded. You pulled away from him and Sebastian winked at you. “Have a good day, you two.” He waved goodbye before walking away with his portfolio in hand.
“Since you didn’t RSVP to our boss’s surprise birthday party tonight, I am taking you as my plus one.” Rachel cheered. “A couple of supervisors are going to trick him into going to the party tonight. Ahh! I’m so excited.”
“What’s the attire?” You asked.
“Formal. Very formal. Think red carpet attire. I’m taking this cute blue dress I wore at my sister’s wedding.” Rachel said. “I assume you’re not ready so I suggest you either run to the nearest store right now or go home and dig through what you have in the closet.”
Nothing. You had no formal attire in your closet. Thanks to Rachel, all you had was sexy lingerie.
“I’m going to run out of here and find something.” You turned off your computer and reached for your bag.
“Pick you up at 6? Send me your address!” She shouted as you walked down the hallway. “I won’t be home. Send me the place’s address instead. I’ll meet you there!
You raced out of the office and got to the nearest store you could find. A couple of looks through the racks and you were definitely not able to afford most of the stuff there. Those tags had too many zeros. You remembered the card Sebastian gave you that morning and pulled it out from your wallet. You called the number on the back of the card. The customer service representative picked up.
"Hi, I just got this card from my- uh- friend and this is the first time I’ve had an account with you guys so could you walk me through how much I can use today.”
“Yes, m'am may I have the name and number on the card.” You finished giving her the information and a couple of moments later she began answering your questions. “Okay, how much did you think of spending?”
“I was told this card had a couple of hundred, maybe one or two hundred dollars. I just don’t want to spend more than half of it-” You were interrupted by her light chuckle.
“I need to buy a dress and-”
“I apologize for my laugh there, ma'am. But there seems to be a misunderstanding on your part. You do have a couple of hundred on this card. A million. To be exact.”
You almost dropped your phone. One fucking million dollars.
“One million?” You asked.
“Your boyfriend knew you were going to call and left a note for you here saying ‘Buy whatever you please. You deserve this and more. Love, Seb’. And honey if you ask me, I would not buy a hundred dollar dress, this man deserves a lot more than that. Give him something to drool over.” She said.
“Oh, I will.”
Your phone had blown up by the dozens of calls Rachel had made. You listened to the couple of voicemails she left, upset that you had yet to arrive, how you missed Sebastian's facial expression and how she was getting drunk alone.
You had arrived at the luxurious rooftop club and got in the elevator to get to the rooftop they had rented out for Sebastian. You may have missed the surprised reaction to the party but you were going to have a reaction of your own. You were left alone in the elevator and faced the mirrors on the side making sure You looked your best. You had bought a red dress with a deep v-neckline and a slit that reached the top of your thigh. You had black strap heels and your makeup was definitely as you say, 'slaying’. You fixed your straightened hair to the side and bit your lip and your reflection. You looked like a billionaire’s lover. And maybe you were about to be.
The elevator door opened and you stepped out into the rooftop. You found Rachel alone, slumped down on the first table to the right along with a glass of what you assumed was whiskey.
Her face lit up as soon as she saw you and waved you to come over.
“Holy fuck, you look hot.” She chugged the rest of her drink down and pulled you to sit down with her in the booth. The music was blaring and people carried on their conversations. No one had caught a glimpse of you. But you didn’t care about any of them. Just one.
“I need to give Sebastian his gift.” You told her. “Do you know where he is?” You asked.
“I think he is in the back by the bar. Funny he kept asking me for you too- Oh shit.” She groaned.
“What?” You followed her gaze to the entrance. There stood a woman, blonde, about your height. Wearing the most elegant gown you had ever seen. A gown similar to yours but in black, a gold accent at the top and these smoky eye shadow that clearly made any man swoon. She gave you a bad feeling. “Who is that?” You turned around to see Rachel pulling your dress back to look at the inside of the top.
“You’re wearing Versace!” She yelled, slightly slurring her words. A few people a table away turned around. Rachel was clearly drunk.
“Rachel, who is that?” You asked again. “That’s Diana. Sebastian’s I-don’t-fucking-know-what-she was-but she worked for the company for a while but something went wrong and left. I am pretty sure they fucked. He was miserable without her. ”
Was Diana the girl Sebastian had the toxic relationship with? Was he her sugar daddy?
“He has a thing for blondes.” Rachel slurred. “Especially that blonde. I don’t know what the fuck she is doing here.”
“I’d like to know too.” You stood up from the booth and saw as she found Sebastian who was by the bar at the end of the room. They greeted each other with a kiss on the cheek.
“She’s also the fucker who nearly destroyed this company by ruining Michael and Sebastian’s friendship- Hey! Where are you going?”
You just needed to hear the beginning of Rachel’s sentence to know You had to make your way over there. You started turning heads as you walked across the room. Diana seemed to try and start a conversation with Sebastian by touching his arm and making a throaty giggle. He faked a smile as his eyes continued to scan the room. That was until he saw you making your way towards him.
His jaw instantly dropped as his eyes scanned you from head to toe, and you tried to sway your hips a little more as you walked to him. “Happy Birthday, Seb.” You held your arms open for an embrace.
“If you’ll excuse me.” He told the blonde woman next to him before meeting you halfway.
“Sweetheart,” He gave you a gentle squeeze as he held you in his arms. “I see you used my card.”
“I see you left me a little message with them and a little more hundreds than you told me you had given me.” You whispered a little too close to his ear.
“I was just sharing something I have too much of.” He replied. “And after this little surprise, I might just give you things like those more often.”
“I’ll take that as a challenge.” You said seductively.
He took a step back and looked at you amazed. “Who is this girl in front of me? What did you do to my roommate?”
Someone cleared their throat behind you, you turned around and saw Michael leaning over the bar with a drink in hand. “I was about to ask Sebastian who is the young woman he was talking to but now that I see that it’s you. May I?” He held his hand out. You took it, thinking it was a handshake but he lifted your hand up and made you turn around to give him a 360 view of you. “Wow, you look amazing.”
“Thank you.” You said feeling very uncomfortable. Like you were a tiny little organism under a microscope, and Michael was looking down at you through that microscope.
“That’s enough, Michael. You know the rules.” Sebastian stepped to your side, almost as if he was about to defend you and start punching Michael. “You can’t date anyone that works for us, especially my assistant.”
“Oh, don’t worry, Sebastian. We’ll keep it away from your ears. I know how well you like to spy on your employees.”
“Michael,” The blonde girl that was with Sebastian a few moments ago, Diana, stepped in and tried to pull Michael back. “Calm down, don’t make a scene.”
Michael and Diana took a step back and walked away. Sebastian winced and relaxed his body from its previous stiff posture.
“Are you okay?” You asked as he braced himself on the bar stool.
“I am, thanks for asking.” He took a deep breath. “She’s a-
"You don’t have to explain to me. I’m going to check in on Rachel, she’s a little tipsy.” You touched his shoulder. “Ignore him and enjoy the party. It is yours after all.”“I’ll try. Just promise me you’ll come back. I want to introduce you to some people.” He said. You nodded and excused yourself before checking in on Rachel who at this point was too drunk to function.
“Rachel,” You shook her shoulder. Her head was placed down on the table. You ordered her a glass of water with lime.
“Ooh, vodka.” She took a sip.
“It’s not- ok, fine drink it down.”
The party ended later, Rachel managed to get back to her senses. Well.. almost all of them. You kept your promise to Sebastian where he introduced you to almost everyone working for him. You met a couple of accountants, salespersons, important clients and his best friend, Brendon. Brendon reminded you a lot of Sebastian which explains why they were best friends. He cracked a couple of jokes to the birthday boy and Sebastian scrunched his nose and laughed.
At that moment, your heart warmed up. It wasn’t the way he was sexily dressed or the way you were. But in that moment he was happy and smiling to the whole world. He forgot about Michael and that one Diana chick that rubbed off on you the wrong way the moment she entered the room.
You danced a couple of songs, of course in a group. If you were both caught dancing alone together there were clearly going to be some rumors circling around the office. Sebastian didn’t want that to get out of hand. He broke a couple of dance moves and by the end of the night, you felt like you got to know Sebastian a lot more.
By the time most of the guests had left you said your goodbyes to everyone, not forgetting about the birthday boy. Wanting to put off the act that you were not living together at the same apartment at the upper east side where You took his bed and he took the couch and you walked in on him last night- well. You know how it goes.
“Are you taking Rachel home?” He asked as you walked away from the group. “Yeah, we’re just gonna catch a cab.”
“Let me take you guys. My car is parked outside.” He pulled out his car keys.
“Oh, boss. You don’t have to.” You smiled. Sebastian smiled back.
“No, I insist.” He said.
You both took tipsy Rachel back to her place and promised her roommate that you would check in on her tomorrow morning to help with the clear hangover she would be having tomorrow.
Sebastian and you drove back home in silence. It was the kind of peaceful silence you wouldn’t want to break, it was comfortable. You went up to the apartment, turned the lights on and took his jacket off of your shoulders. Which smelled of him, the cologne he used and left a lingering scent on your skin. You could tell he wanted to say something but at that moment, you didn’t feel like talking.
You turned around and grabbed the side of his face and pulled him in for a kiss. He gave out a small moan before pulling back. “You’re drunk.”
“Sebastian, I didn’t have a single sip of alcohol tonight.” You pulled him in for a kiss again and tugged on his tie.
“Wait,” He pulled back, panting for breath. “Is this you answering my question?”
“Yes and,” You bit your lip and leaned in to whisper in his ear. “I know what you did last night. I came back just in time to hear you screaming my name.” You admitted. You could feel Sebastian’s face begin to burn against your cheek. “I’d be lying if I didn’t think it was hot. Actually, I had a little fantasy of my own in my dream last night-”
His hands grabbed the under part of your thighs and lifted you up to wrap your legs around his waist. He growled and attacked your neck with kisses as he pressed you against the nearest dining room wall.
“You have no idea how hard it was to control myself in front of all the guests when you looked like this. Just for me.” He said in between kisses. You lifted your head slightly higher to give him better access to your neck. “But what made you change your mind about us?”
“You’ve been treating me well and come on, what’s a sugar baby without her daddy, am I right?” You shrugged. Sebastian pulled back from you and scanned your face.
“Oh my god.” He said incredulously, before attacking your lips again.
He pulled you away from the wall and began to carry you to the bedroom where he gently placed you down on the bed. He pulled his tie off in a swift movement, began to unbutton his shirt. You sat up at the edge of the bed and came at eye level with his belt. Your hands reached forward as You began to unbuckle it.
Sebastian was left with just one single undergarment. “Oh fuck.” You looked at his huge bulge and then at his back reflection in the mirror behind him. "Shit, you got a nice ass.”
“And you got a sailor’s mouth.” He grabbed the hem of your dress and pulled it over your body. The look on his face was definitely one you will never forget. Thank god for Victoria’s Secret.
“Just one last thing.” You smiled and bent your leg over the bed to begin to unstrap your heels when his hand wrapped around your ankle.
“Leave the heels.” He commanded. Instantly, you brought your leg back down to the floor. “Lie back down.”
You nodded and did what was told, you were left to face the ceiling and your mind began to wander. Did I really just do that? Is this not another one of those fantasy dreams I am having? Maybe I am really in bed, trying to fall asleep and Sebastian is in the other room getting ready for sleep. Maybe-
Your hands grabbed a fist full of the bed sheets as your back slightly arched up. You had not noticed your core was fully exposed to the man kneeling down at the end of the bed. You suddenly felt this great sensation of a tongue lapping-
Your eyes fluttered shut as you tried to bite back the moans filling in your throat. You swallowed hard and lifted your head up to see him in between your legs, his eyes instantly locking with yours as he continued to please you.
“You’re delicious.” He mumbled against you. The vibrations his mouth gave you as he moaned against you. You wanted him and you wanted him now.
He pressed in a finger and then two as his mouth began to work your folds, moving at a faster pace each time. At this point, you couldn’t hold in any noises right now.
“You taste just as sweet as I imagined,” His dirty talk filled the room as you struggled harder not to rip the bed sheets to shreds. His fingers kept hitting the right spot inside of you and you were just coming close to the edge.
“Fuck- Sebastian I’m gonna-” You instantly grabbed the back of his head and ran your fingers through his hair.
“Come for me, baby.” He whispered and with those four words You fell apart. His mouth continued to work at you as you came down from your bliss. You half sat up, still panting, to check up on him. You looked over at him to see him pull off his briefs. You immediately did the same with your bra and we were left naked, admiring each other.
He crawled over to you where he positioned himself in between your legs. He pressed his tip against you.
“Are you sure about this?” Sebastian asked.
“Very sure.” You answered.
Without breaking eye contact, he entered you inch by inch. You whimpered as he began to move inside you, setting a rhythm with his hips. It wasn’t long until you were screaming his name.
“Sebastian-Oh fuck.” You began to claw at his back. Sebastian gave you a gentle smile as he looked down at you.
“You like that don’t you.” It sounded more like a statement than a question.
“Y-Yes. Fuck.”
“There we go.” He chuckled lightly as he found your sweet spot. “You’re so tight for me, princess.” He picked up the pace, hitting the same spot over and over again.
At that point, you were sure he was going to break the bed. In fact, you wanted him to break it.
You felt yourself nearing the edge again and you tightened your legs around his waist and rolled over so that you were on top.
“My turn,” You said. You began to roll your hips up and down his body as he reached for your breasts his fingers rolling your nipples. He sat up and circled his tongue around your right one.
You sensed Sebastian near his climax and you rolled your hips one last time before sliding up and down his shaft. His hips bucked up just as yours came down and your lips met again. Breathless, you reached our climax almost at the same time.
You fell against Sebastian’s chest as he pumped the rest of himself into you. He fell back onto the white fluffy pillows and held you in his arms. You waited to catch your breath before you got off him.
You both lay together on the bed not bothering to look at each other. The room stayed silent and the nerves kicked in. Wasn’t he supposed to say something right now?
A pinch of guilt began to flood your mind. That was until you felt a hand interlace with yours.

You arrived at Sebastian’s apartment late at night, you reached the living room where you dropped your purse and fell on the couch. It was all you had. Everything had been destroyed because of the fire.
Sebastian closed the door behind him and began to dial his cell phone.
Your father in the hospital, losing your job, the break-up with Spencer was too much for you. In a matter of days, your life changed completely. It was an absolute shit show.
If your father didn’t get better- If your father wasn’t rescued by those firefighters- you should have been there with him. You could have helped him instead of being out pretending to work. He didn’t have to be stuck in that hospital.
Guilt flooded your mind as your eyes filled with tears. You shouldn’t have lied about your job to him. If you had told him the truth and stayed home this would have never happened.
Sebastian’s briefly placed his hand on your shoulder. “Yes, I said feminine, female clothes,” he talked to his assistant and walked around the couch to face you, “what size are you?” he asked.
You answered him, keeping your head down. He sat down on the wooden living room table in front of the couch.
“Just get whatever you think would be good.” He saw your red eyes and ended his call.
“Come here,” he pulled you into a hug. You began to sob. “Your dad is going to be okay. I promise you."
"It’s my fault. Everything is my fault. My whole life is shit, starting with Spencer."
"Woah,” Sebastian pulled back, holding you by the arms. “Okay. I’m missing something here.”
You began to explain why you had broken up with Spencer’s cheating ass. Sebastian’s jaw clenched and his lips formed a thin line.
“And he tried following me on the street and that’s when I ran into you.” You sighed after you told the story.
“What a bastard. You’re too good for him.” He placed his hand on your cheek and wiped your tears with his thumb.
“Thank you.” You cleared your throat. Sebastian got up from the table and sat next to you on the couch.
“Do you want to eat? We can order food.” He offered.
“I’m just going to take a nap if that’s alright.” Your head hurt like a bitch from all the crying.
"Of course, let me find you some clothes.“
He led you to his bedroom where he opened the dresser drawers and pulled out a few clothing items. Sebastian handed you black sweatpants and a white t-shirt and grabbed the pile of clothes on top of the dresser.
"They should fit.” He handed them to you. You took them and began to head out the door at the same time he did. You both stopped at the doorway. “Where are you going?” He asked.
“I’m changing in the bathroom.” You answered, “Where are you going?”
“Letting you change in my room. Since you’re going to sleep here.” He replied.
“I thought I was taking the couch.” You squeezed the clothes in your hand against your chest.
“That’s my couch. You take the bed." Sebastian raised his eyebrow at you. There was no way in hell he was letting you win this argument.
"But-"
"No ‘buts’ just take it. Goodnight!” Sebastian raced out of the room and shut the door.
You were left alone in the strange room. It was as neat as it was when you saw it the first time. Sebastian seemed like an organized person. He had a bookshelf, a desk in the right corner, a couch at the end of the bed facing the flat screen television.
His bedroom was all grey tones just like his living room, it was aesthetically pleasing to look at.
You climbed into bed and tucked yourself in. The king-sized bed felt like you were laying on top of a cloud. There was a faint scent of Sebastian’s cologne on the pillow. You buried your face in it and took a deep breath. It was a nice smell, you weren’t complaining. You mentally slapped yourself in the face for doing that and just then, your eyelids began to flutter.
You woke up to the smell of cooked eggs and bacon. You threw the bed sheets to the side and sat up on the side of the bed. Rubbing your eyes, you remembered the events of the night before.
You quickly got up and walked out of the room, heading towards the kitchen. You found Sebastian in grey pants and a blue t-shirt making omelets in the kitchen. He had his back to you as he shook the pan and tried to make the omelet flip in the air.
“Good morning.” He briefly turned to look at you.
“Mornin’,” You answered.
“I thought we could eat breakfast before we could head back to the hospital.” He placed the omelet on a plate topped with cheese, diced tomatoes and a piece of sausage.
“I thought you had to work today.” You took a bite of the breakfast. It wasn’t as bad as you thought it was going to be.
“No, I’m taking the day off.” He turned off the stove after putting the food on a plate. “I had my assistant go out shopping to get you some clothes. I didn’t think you would want to go shopping, but if you do we can get more,” He nodded towards a big suitcase by the entrance.
“Thank you,” You said.
“But finish your breakfast, I don’t want you malnourished.”
You had finished your breakfast and helped Sebastian wash the dishes. You hauled the suitcase back to Sebastian’s room and threw it on the bed.
Sebastian was taking a shower and you took your time getting ready.
You opened the suitcase and took out the clothes on top. All of them had a tag.
As you took them out one by one, you began to notice the smooth fabric and the engraved fashion designers name at the collar.
These were clothes you could never afford. Blouses, skirts, jumpsuits, and jeans. At the bottom of the suitcase were two pairs of shoes, just your size and a small box wrapped in a pale pink ribbon.
You took it out and began to untie the ribbon. You opened the box to find lace fabric rolled neatly and small. You pulled one out and laid it on the bed.
Your eyes widened and your face burned red. You didn’t notice Sebastian enter the room with a towel around his waist.
“Fuck.” He whispered, snatching it from the bed along with the box.
“Why did you ask your assistant to bring me lingerie?” You were not sure which emotion you felt more with both anger and shock were overpowering you.
“You didn’t-”
“Did you think I was going to sleep with you?” Now, you sounded angry.
“No!” He shut his eyes and ran his free hand through his wet hair. “It was a misunderstanding.”
“Did your assistant think I was another one of those girls that you bring to your apartment?"
"No,” He looked at you. “I don’t expect you to have sex with me. I don’t expect anything."
You both stood in the room in silence.
"Sebastian, I’m sorry.” You whispered. He shook his head in dissapointment and walked out of the bedroom.
The ride to the hospital was silent. You knew Sebastian was upset at the fact that you thought he wanted something to happen between you two.
But most importantly, he realized that you didn’t trust him as much as he trusted you.
You arrived at the hospital and asked the front desk where your father’s room was.
You had a hand on the door handle of the room, yet you hesitated before opening it. You didn’t know how you were going to find your father.
Your hand turned the knob. Your father was asleep on the hospital bed with a dozen of tubes connected to the noisy machines next to him.
You felt Sebastian’s hand on your shoulder and you bit your lip trying not to cry.
You walked over to the side of the bed and took your father’s hand. You kissed his forehead and sat down on the chair nearby.
“I’ll be out in the hallway.” Sebastian excused himself and left the room.
You broke out in tears as you pressed your father’s hand against your cheek.
“Please, get better. You don’t know how guilty I feel. I need you making me laugh again, I need you telling me how proud you feel to have me as your daughter. You can get through this, you’re strong. You will get through this.”
You spent the next half hour talking to him, admitting your mistake on dating Spencer and telling him the truth over the past two weeks.
“I’m telling you all this because I don’t want to keep any more secrets from you. Also, because you won’t yell at me, for now."
There was a knock on the door and a nurse came in.
"I am just here to check the machines, you can stay.” She smiled. “Does your boyfriend want to come inside?”
You were about to correct her and tell her that Sebastian and you were not dating but you figured 'why bother?’.
“He’s fine. I’ll ask him to come back in a bit.”
She left a few moments later and Sebastian came in with hot coffee.
“I called the police and asked if they had any idea of how the fire started.” He said.
“And?” You waited for him to finish his sentence.
“Gasoline and a cigarette.” He looked worried.
“Some neighbors keep them in their closets” You paused. “No one started the fire on purpose if that is what you are thinking.” You leaned back in the chair and watched Sebastian walk around the bed to sit on the couch. “Do you mind waiting here? I’m going to try and locate the doctor.”
Sebastian nodded.
You walked out, pacing the hallways trying to recognize the doctor from last night. You tried to find the nurse who checked the machines a few minutes ago but you had no luck. You found a male nurse at the front desk talking to a female. Clearly, his girlfriend, judging by how close they were.
You cleared your throat, “Excuse me. Do you mind calling the doctor for the patient in room 22?” You asked.
He quickly got his hands off her and said the doctor was on his way. You looked at the girlfriend who was clearly trying to hide from you.
“Jessica?" You recognized her.
She flipped her hair over her shoulder and rolled eyes. "Hey.”
For a split second, you forgot you weren’t friends anymore and you almost said it was nice to see her.
“Can we talk to you for a second?” You asked.
“Listen, I’m busy-”
“Now.” You said in a firm tone. She rolled her eyes again and said goodbye to her boyfriend before walking past the double doors and into the waiting room.
“What do you want to talk about?” She asked.
“I want to know why you started acting strangely just before I got fired.”
“Are you assuming I got you fired? Because you are wrong.” Jessica scoffed.
“Well, explain.” You crossed your arms.
“Look, Amber didn’t want to be caught in elite gossip."
"What gossip?” You asked.
“Oh, don’t fuck with me.” She said through gritted teeth.
“You know damn well, Sebastian is one of the richest men in New York.”
“I just found out. You didn’t tell me shit about him. How the hell was I supposed to know.” You paused. “What the hell does Sebastian have to do with any of this?”
“You’re so dumb! It’s right in front of you and you can’t even see it.” She turned her heel and began to walk away. You raced after her and stood in front of her, blocking her way.
“What was the real reason Amber fired me?”
“You’re his fucking charity case. Wake up."
"I don’t understand."
"He is using you to get in bed with you. The way he does it with all the needy sugar babies like you who sleep with him for money. All because of your sob story with your crippled dad.”
That was when you lost it and your fist met her jaw.
