I noticed this in the theater and I’m still not over her making the choice so Aguilar doesn’t.

It’s just - @diebythecreed and I have an AU where Maria actually lives through that and together they start rebuilding the Spanish Brotherhood (that’s the SUPER condensed version of it), and when they’re to be named master assassins (as is canonical for Aguilar), Aguilar insists Maria be named before him because she legitimately puts the Creed before everything, while he shows weakness.

I have so many feelings for Aguilar and Maria and the things they do for each other, but also despite each other. It’s just so sad but fitting and idk, I have so many emotions, please cry with us.
