What do you think about Saga's relationship with Kanon? Do they actually dislike each other?
I don't think either of them have it in them to hate each other. Saga turned on Kanon cause he was pretty openly evil and was trying to get Saga to embrace his evil as well. But it was never shown that they hated each other.
The main point I have to that is....well, the fact they both are alive after their argument LOL
Kanon is known for being extremely ruthless (even after he becomes the next Gemini) and we've seen Saga drop a planet on someone for less, but you don't see that between them. If anything, Kanon was more so hurt that Saga didn't want to join him. This was his older brother, who he could sense had an Evil in him (though I don't think Kanon knew it was a possession right away, but he knew there was something very much Off with Saga) and instead of joining him because Kanon believed they received their immense power from the gods and should rule as such. And they were training to be Saints/were Saints at this point. Treachery to Athena should've been death, but Saga simply imprisoned him and left Kanon to effectively think of what he did wrong haha
I guess you can maybe infer that Kanon hated Saga for imprisoning him and conversely Saga hated Kanon for helping wake up Ares and lead into the treachery in Sanctuary, but we never see that as far as I've noticed.
If Kanon truly hated Saga, he wouldn't have mourned him. He wouldn't have defended him against others, and he ESPECIALLY wouldn't have taken up the Gemini Cloth.
I think the twins loved each other a lot. They fought, they had their differences, but at the end of the day they were the same kind of man; incredibly just and loyal to Athena, and willing to die to prove their allegiance.
It's unfortunate we never truly got to see Saga and Kanon make true and proper amends with each other.
