I'm not someone who will write fanfics for thing I don't view as complete... But Maxwell Gotch and Torse from Dimension 20 Cloudward Ho are doing something to me. I am obsessed with them and there aren't even enough works on ao3 for them to be a common tag. I want more Maxwell and Torse content and I might just need to make my own but I literally do not have time for it

I don’t know if Hiccup’s mother would be alive in a modern AU without dragons. If she did then her and Stoick either divorced, or she just… left a couple months after giving birth for no reason. The latter is a fucked up thing to do, and no body’s relationship with her could be repaired.

Stoick’s a good father to both Hiccup (and Toothless), and if there was a divorce, would have sole custody of Hiccup. I don’t think Valka would want custody of Hiccup in a divorce, I don’t think she was ready for kids in that scenario.

Hiccup wouldn’t really know how to feel about his mother, and Toothless really wouldn’t know how to help him with that. Everything else, Toothless can help with, this is out of his comfort zone though (teenage runaway).
