i'm seeing a resurgence of discourse in this fandom and it's like guys... this happens every couple of months. i'm tired. some of you think you have hot takes and you don't. this isn't even a hot take.

yes, you can in fact like both matthew and alastair. yes they both fucked up as characters. characters can be flawed and still be good characters. for the love of god, can we stop having this discourse every two months, it's so exhausting

I’m still consistently blown away by the number of people who go “I want the dinosaurs in Jurassic Park/World to behave more like animals” and then go “Wait, why didn’t _____ do _____???” when it actually acts like an animal.
