So steddie but they get married-
Eddie thinks he's going to have a panic attack. If you would have told Eddie three years ago that he would be standing at a makeshift alter, sweating like he'd just ran a marathon in a mediocre tuxedo he'd rented, and that in mere moments, Steve Harrington was going to walk down the shitty aisle they'd set up in his parent's lake house's backyard? He would have laughed, and then slapped you; because there's no world, where that happens... Except this one apparently.
Since they obviously couldn't be married by the state or by any church, they'd decided to have an unofficial ceremony in the backyard of the Harrington vacation home about forty minutes out from Hawkins. They'd invited the party, spare a few extras, makeshift decorations were thrown around. Some paper flowers that Max had folded up, some old Christmas lights from when Joyce was looking for will, and some fold out chairs they all borrowed from the high school. They were set up in crooked rows, with a small aisle between. It was... Nice, in a weird, janky way.
Eddie was standing there, his hands folded in front of him, and he was more clammy than clam chowder, and just trying not to shake visibly. Half from excitement and the other from pure terror. He was a little giddy, he was getting "married" to the best guy he'd ever seen or met or fathomed. But also, worried, because what if Steve realized right now how much of a freaking loser he was? It was a stupid worry, Steve had been the one to purpose this in the first place, literally, on one knee. But Eddie couldn't help it he was like seven racoons in a tuxedo right now. Even if his crew: Dustin, Mike, and Lucas- Claimed he was cleaned up good. They'd pulled his hair back into this loose, messy bun thing? They wouldn't let him look so he either looked horrific or fantastic. He didn't know, and he didn't care.
An elbow nudged him out of his thoughts, Dustin's specifically, he'd been standing next to him for the past five minutes as he was the best man of both parties. Eddie looked at Dustin, and followed Dustin's gaze to the aisle and-
That sight knocked the wind out of him more than any punch from Jason Carver ever did.

Steve didn't know what heart palpitations felt like, but he imagined it was a lot like this. His heart was pounding against it's ribcage like it was being held prisoner, which it definitely was, it was trying to escape to the end of that aisle; to Eddie. Eddie with his hair up, Eddie in that black suit, Eddie with that grin on his face. He was smiling like a big idiot, Steve's big idiot.
Steve felt a bit like a massive idiot, walking down that aisle with his arm in Robins. They'd decided because since guys don't really have bridesmaids, that she could give him away. They walked slowly together, and for once, Robin almost seemed graceful, probably because they let her go without wearing heels, she was bare foot, but that pink dress suited her. It contrasted against Steve's own white suit. He looked good and he knew it, he just hoped Eddie thought the same. But knowing Eddie, Eddie probably was about to drop dead over Steve.
They crossed the aisle, and Steve pretended not to notice the way multiple people were tearing up a bit. Wayne Munson, who was standing at the alter to officiate (for whatever reason he was actually mysteriously qualified to do so) was having a particularly hard time, so was Dustin, who was smiling despite his wet eyes. It made Steve's chest ache to know they cared that much Robin let go of Steve when they got to the alter that was a bunch of ply wood and cardboard dressed up with ribbon. She pat Eddie on the shoulder and smiled, "He's all yours, treat him good, Munson." She declared, before sitting down in her seat next to Nancy, who looked at her fondly.
The couple joined hands, Eddie's shaking, they're both grinning, Steve gets choked up in the moment, and tries to ignore the way his eyes stung a bit. Wayne cleared his throat, and the unofficial ceremony began. "Hello, everyone, we're here for the... Union, of these two fine young men." He began, and Lucas gave a whistle, and Joyce in the back gave a small holler. Eddie chuckled at that, which made Steve giggle in return. Wayne tried to hide a smirk, "And as much as I'd love to ramble on about how marriage is a wonderful thing, I'm sure these two are dying to get this over with, so I'll keep it short." Eddie rolled his eyes.
"Even though this isn't a real wedding in the eyes of... Most, it's the best damn wedding I've ever been to. You two are gonna do great together, and I know Steve will take care of my nephew, and my nephew... Well he'll do good at keeping Steve busy." Gentle chuckles resounded, a particularly loud snort from Dustin. "So, Eddie Munson, do you take Steve Harrington to be your un-lawfully wedded husband?" Wayne asked. "Yes, absolutely." Eddie's answer was instant and without a hint of doubt. "And do you-" "Yes." Steve cut him off, eager. Wayne chuckled, "Alright, I pronounce you husband and... Husbands." He corrected himself, "You may now kiss the groom."
Who knows who grabbed who first, but the now technically wed couple kissed passionately. Steve's hands were in Eddie's hair, and Eddie's hands were around Steve's waist. He gently dipped Steve before pulling back, and all their friends applauded, but they weren't focusing on them. They were looking at each other. Eddie leaned his forehead against his... husbands forehead. "You look gorgeous." He murmured, his grin from ear to ear. "White suits you, Stevie." Eddie pressed another kiss to his jaw before pulling him back up and standing. Steve flushed pink and smiled wide, "You don't look half bad in a tux." He teased back, unthreading his fingers from Eddie's hair reluctantly just in time for Dustin to tackle the two in a hug.
Sure, they weren't married under the eyes of any state, or government, or religion, but fuck it, they were married in the eyes of everyone who really mattered.
Summerstobotnikweek: Day 3
Symbolism
His love is an overflowing cup - and it spills, and spills, until you're soaked in it.
It took a few days - and several attempts - to make this.
I did my best to try and convey the idea of Stone's tender and gentle love, depicted as a sort of cornucopia that unceasingly pours into Ivo's cup, eventually turning into a warm, rose-colored waterfall. Ivo doesn't quite know how to behave, faced with such bright affection, and he doesn't realize he's already been "stained" and affected by it.
Reflecting on how Stone's love is expressed through acts of service, I decided to draw him handing to Ivo his heart on a tray - after all, isn't it what he already does every day? Also, I love the idea of Stone always pouring - even when Ivo says he doesn't want it or need it, - so that, whenever Ivo may be ready to accept it, he would never have to face an empty cup. Stone's love is stubborn and loyal and gentle, always available, always welcoming for Ivo - even if that means pouring, pouring and pouring to keep that tender little waterfall flowing.

OH MY GOD! Shut up! How the fuck are they not married yet??
I don't think ANYTHING about them can be considered as platonic at this point. Because what the fuck do you mean by that Clark??
"what is it you asked me before? How far was I willing to go to stop Kyle?"
"Not as far as I WAS WILLING TO GO TO SAVE YOU"
Like fuck me??? That's not normal behaviour. They both can fuck right there and it would be less gay than all the tension they carry for each.
"if hitting me will help, I'll make sure you don't break your hand"
Clark YOU FUCKING SIMP of a man, I love you. Can you see how much he loves his wife lol, he's standing there ready to accept any punishment Bruce will throw at him. He's like slap me,punch me and hurt me all you want and I'll make sure that you don't get hurt in the process. MAN tone it down a bit. He is the standard, he's crazy in love 🫠🙂↕️
