A nice little thing I noticed between Kohane's untrained cards for Legend Still Vivid and this event - assuming that the newer one is them looking out to the crowd at least - is that they are looking out from different angles of COL

Akito mentioned in BMS that they would be performing at COL, so having these two Kohane cards be a sort of parallel to each other is nice I think

Winter’s Veil at Caravan Court had been everything she had hoped for and more. She had been surprised when Iiloridan had invited her, having expected him to sulk about her relationship with Kalyanar for at least another couple of weeks, but she had readily accepted it. The Brightquill were more like family to her than her blood relatives and she loved them dearly. This time of year had often been hard for her but as she sat now, curled up in front of the fire with Bella fast asleep on her lap, all her bad memories felt so very far away.It was late, so she was curious when Kalyanar appeared and quietly took the book from her hands in favour of placing his own in them, a finger to his lips. She rose her brows at him, very carefully shifting the sleeping teen so as not to wake her - even the fiercest of warriors needed to rest, you see - and allowed her lover to lead her outside. The Court was beautiful with all it’s softly twinkling lights and gently swaying foliage, but the quaint little vardo that he took her to was even better. Inside he had decorated it with wreaths of winter plants and berries, presumably grown by his own hand, and it smelt delightfully of the holidays. It was lit with several small, flickering candles that cast a warm glow across the plush furnishings and Avie couldn’t help the smile that tugged at her lips. The best decoration of all, though, was the mistletoe right above their heads.“It’s beautiful, Kalyanar,” she breathed, her eyes settling back on him as he turned to her and snaked a tattooed arm around her waist and cupped her face with a tender hand.“I’m glad you like it...I know everyone know’s now but...I thought perhaps a place just for us..”“It’s perfect,” and it was. She felt her heart swell against her chest with words she could not yet say and turned her lips to the palm of his hand. His fingers curled to coax her lips back round to him and he leant down to ghost his own to them.“Happy Winter’s Veil, Avie,” Kalyanar murmered before kissing her with unspoken feeling, affectionate and slow, and felt his ears burn a deeper shade of red as she returned it in kind and melted into his embrace.

2x10 Malec

Okay so, we were left at a dead end on these last few episodes but this one? I guess I was right in saying this episode would be the one to make up for all that, it was beautiful. There’s so much other words I could’ve used for this but it was just beautiful. Aside from the screaming and practically crying I was so proud of Harry and Matt for pulling off such an amazing scene. Back to Magnus and Alec - WHAT A STEP!! 

Magnus

From "Are you really going to risk your life for a shadowhunter?” to “I love you too..”  This is such a huge stepping stone for Magnus, as we saw him grow as a character, finally watching him open up to Alec and mending his own broken heart I am so proud of him ❤❤❤

Alec

“Emotions get in the way-” to “Magnus...I love you..” Again seeing him, this emotionless boy who’s never been in a relationship or truly loved someone say this to Magnus is just beautiful.

Overall

I’m so proud of Matt and Harry, and everyone involved with Shadowhunters. I was so happy seeing these two grow from “I don’t love him..” to totally confessing their love to each other I’m just....I don’t know, everything! Also when they said they would top the wedding kiss ages ago...if that still applies then you guys have not only topped the wedding kiss, you’ve created something bigger than that! [I’m pretty sure everyone is screaming at me so I’ll stop now] I’m so happy seeing Magnus and Alec grow more as the seasons progressed and I will say right now although some things were missed out before E10 I loved this season so much...thank you so much everyone invloved with this masterpiece episode and season...thank you.

it means a lot to me that amity gets to completely cut off odalia. in this episode alone, odalia blatantly looks down on and imprisons her children, degrading luz in the process, and odalia thinks she's in the right, she just wants what's best for the family, why can't anyone else see that?

odalia's not even remotely looking out for the emotional needs of. anyone in her family and shows no remorse when amity declares she'll never speak to her again. she only mourns the business assets alador provided. good on alador and amity realizing that they have much more to offer than what odalia thought of them
