part of what makes me so violently mad about the mcu and star wars movies of the last decade are that they are built almost solely of wasted potential. they start off and create these great fun little new characters and possibilities and then every magic thing about the story the relationships the world the everything, just sits dead in the water for the rest of time. and they expected us to watch 4 hour movies of that. and tv shows and books too.
