Funny story, I went looking for this cursed fucking video recently and it seems like the cw scrubbed it from YouTube (curious, because videos from the same campaign for other shows are still up). hey i’m just wondering why this comment about prostitution from dean “i know all about absentee fathers” winchester. just wondering what parallel this is supposed to be drawing between dean and these women, especially in the middle of an arc where dean is meant by heaven to allow michael to enter & use his body. just wondering how i’m supposed to interpret this in light of the show’s running motif of lack of bodily autonomy & choice. anyway i’m sure this will be explained in depth in future episodes

it wasnt even like a narrative parallel between cas and collette like thats what gets me. it wasnt like a cas/ruby situation where ur like yes dean gets an angel sam gets a demon their stories parallel etc. got it. its never explicitly stated but yeah i got it. no with cas/collette they simple like. state. that cas is dean's collette. like with words and dialogue explicitly. like . like. how do i even. she wasnt even an angel like theres no other.. its just. cas serves in this story. the same narrative purpose to dean. as cain's wife collette. and . and cain says this out loud he says hey. my wife collette? u have a wife too. castiel. of course. of course!
